Bad service rude

I went to a Starbucks down the block and they made my drink the wrong way. I was on my way to the bank and came across this Starbucks and explained the situation. The Barista Johnathan offered to remake my drink. His excellent customer service, attention to detail and great attitude will be one of the reasons I return. Great workers really make a difference and I loved seeing his leadership.

I wish I could give this morning’s visit to Starbucks a 0/10 when it comes to customer service. I stopped in to order a sandwich and a drink, and unfortunately, the experience from start to finish was disappointing.

The young woman taking my order seemed disengaged, scrolling on her phone as I placed it. Later, when I realized I had forgotten part of my order, I returned to add the items and pay. She relayed the change to the barista, who then made the drink incorrectly. When I began explaining what was missing, the barista cut me off with, “JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT.” I calmly responded with, “cold foam,” and mentioned—politely—that this isn’t the right way to address a customer. Instead of simply adding the cold foam, the barista tossed the entire drink, visibly irritated, and continued with an unnecessary rebuttal.

Having worked in customer service myself, I know that tone matters just as much as words. A simple “sorry about that” would have been more than enough. Instead, I was met with rudeness where there should have been professionalism.

To top it off, the same young woman who took my order later heated my sandwich and left it on the counter rather than handing it to me directly. This left me waiting another ten minutes unnecessarily, and when I finally asked for it, she also had an attitude.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at Starbucks, and that’s saying something because I usually don’t write reviews. But in this case, the customer service was so poor that I felt compelled to share.

This Starbucks was once my go-to location, but recently the drink quality has declined significantly. Only about three baristas consistently prepare drinks to the high standard I’ve come to expect. It’s disappointing to see the lack of attention and care that now goes into most of my orders compared to the excellent service I used to receive here.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I wish I could give 0 stars.
Every time I order on uber eats my orders are completely wrong and not handled with care. I been a barista and I know my coffee so this is definitely not it and it’s definitely disappointing when you just wanted a good coffee. Every time I go to the store in person it’s unorganized and the wait is too long because the workers are taking their time ( slow motion at this point)

Unfortunately, I received very average service here, apart from one team members. I was traveling from Australia and renting in an Airbnb across the road . I was not from the area and it was really clear that it was noticed I watched the team interact with the other customers and they experienced a complete different service than what I did. I was made to feel very unwelcome in this establishment. The coffee was good but the overall service was as chilly as you could come across.

Everytime I order my caramel ribbon crunch from here it tastes disgusting. No flavor, no whip cream on the bottom. No dark caramel. Im drinking literal ice . Do better.
