They consistently prioritize in house customers over everyone else. What’s the point of me ordering whatever, 30m prior to my arrival. Just for me to arrive to my order still not done and I have to wait another 20-30m for my stuff.

I came on Red Cup Day 2025 to get my holiday drink and the red cup. The store was busier than usual but the team did an amazing job. They worked quickly and efficiently making drinks quickly and serving the customers. They were also very friendly despite how busy the store was. They definitely deserve a raise

This has been the worst Starbucks experience I’ve had anywhere. The barista is consistently rude and my drink is rarely ready on time. When I ask for an update, I’m spoken to condescendingly, and the cup is slid across the counter instead of being handed to me. I’ve never experienced this at other Starbucks locations.
As a person of color, I’ve felt singled out by the tone and treatment on multiple visits. It’s disappointing and uncomfortable. I won’t be returning, and I hope management addresses staff training, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity at this store.

I like this location and crew (well, most of them)! The barista named Arelis (not sure re: spelling), Walter and a girl with glasses (sorry Idk her name) were so expedient and polite. Love their energy

Overall, a nice small location, not too busy at least in the late afternoon when I visited. Music can be loud, and the seating is somewhat limited. The branch is open until 9pm, which is convenient.
The service was great, and when they already had no option for a regular coffee as a refill before closing, the lady barista proactively offered me a choice of Americano or latte instead, which was awesome and appreciated.
On another visit, a barista named Sharon, seeing that I’m staying late, offered me any tea I wanted as a courtesy, bringing it right where I sat. Terrific service!

I recently had one of the most frustrating and confusing experiences at your 37th Street, Brooklyn location. I ordered a small coffee and waited, assuming the cashier would hand it to me right away. They never did. While I was standing there, another customer behind me even asked if I had ordered, which made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed.
Eventually, I went to the pickup area, but my coffee was still not given to me — even though it had been sitting ready by the cashier. No one informed me that I could simply take it from there. This lack of communication and organization made the whole experience unnecessarily unpleasant.

I’ve frequented this Starbucks at Industry City many times, usually walking away with a smooth, unremarkable experience or a well-handled interaction worth a good tip. I’m not someone who skimps either: I’ve never tipped less than $5, and on this occasion, I tipped $10 after ordering multiple drinks to treat my staff.
Yet, when I asked Isaiah, politely, for a paper bag to carry those drinks, he insisted on charging me 5 cents. That’s fine in principle. But what wasn’t fine was the manner: he walked me back to the register just to collect it, even after I had generously tipped and treated everyone respectfully. It wasn’t about the nickel, it was about the tone, the lack of appreciation, and the complete absence of warmth. It felt punitive.
Most of the staff here are pleasant and easy to speak with. But Isaiah’s energy? Disrespectful, cold, and indifferent. It was enough to sour the entire visit. And unfortunately, it overshadowed the kindness of the other team members that I normally appreciate.
I rarely write reviews over one person’s attitude, but this crossed the line into bad decision-making and worse customer care. A shame, really.

Was made to wait a little too long, with no one in front of me, at the register. Took a substantial amount of time for my cappuccino. I understand these things take time, but of the numerous starbucks I’ve been to, with nobody in front of me, was too long. Received my coffee in a sticky cup with no heat sleeve.
Not the best experience. I don’t think I’ll be returning. Yours is not the only coffee shop in NY.
I’m very surprised how pour customer service is here!!! May 12th, stuff don’t care at all who is at the register for order. No another customer between 2pm to 2:10pm, but still they even didn’t take my order!
It was amazing the store was nice and we got our drinks before 10 minutes.
The coffee is fresh and the service is fast. I like the music they play.
A few days ago I found out I was expecting a baby. Today I was telling my friend at Starbucks, I left and just noticed the inscription on the cup. Starbucks girls made my day.
