Asked for a medium chicken and broccoli platter.
Medium was supposed to come with 3 sides per the menu and I assumed the chicken would be some type of protein like other vegan/ vegetarian restaurants (I’ve been vegan for 6yrs). I asked what was my other 2 options for sides and was told it only comes with rice and side of broccoli. I pointed out what it said on the menu and was told again that it comes with one side of broccoli and one protein.
When I got my plate it was deep fried oily cauliflower with broccoli separate. Got nauseous 5min after eating and couldn’t finish. That was $18 not worth it to me. I also wouldn’t consider deep fried cauliflower protein. Rice was good tho.

Playing extremely loud TikTok compilations on the TV, Dudes at the counter are weird and off putting, they charge you for water, and the ambiance of the restaurant is horrible. Definitely just a takeout place

Great tasting food and great customer service, BUT I, along with a relative and a friend (who I bought food/drink for) DID GET SICK from the Soursop drink they sell. There was no date written on the bottles so I believe it may have been old. Here's how it went down.
I came on August 3rd and ordered food to takeout. There was only one couple in the place. The staff was friendly. As I sat waiting for my food, the staff asked if I wanted my drink that I had ordered, so I chose Soursop flavor and drank it. My food came and I went to the car where I started eating. I had ordered the citrus chicken lunch. I started to feel weird but I assumed it was because I had the sweet drink on an empty stomach. I didn't eat much because I wasn't feeling well. I felt sickly in my stomach and kept burping.
My relative was driving so she drank the Soursop drink first (she then mentioned she thought it was too sweet) and then started eating later. A few moments later she complained of cramps in her stomach and said she felt like she had to throw up. I continued on to meet my friend and my relative went home. I told my friend I think the drink is too sweet and that it made me feel weird so my friend then ate first and then drank. A few minutes later she complained of feeling sick. Her symptoms were worse than mine. She felt like she had to throw up. The next couple hours we walked around slowly while she held a plastic bag in front of her in case she threw up.
When I went home that day, my relative told me that she had used the restroom and that helped her feel better. I also used the restroom and after that I was fine. It took my friend a few days to get better.
It is unfortunate that this happened because the food was tasty. I am not opposed to going back but I would not buy another drink from there again. Going forward, Staff should WRITE THE DATE THE DRINK WAS MADE ON THE BOTTLE.
I believe it was the drink that made us sick as the food did take quite a while to come (so I believe it was freshly made).
Overall, great customer service and great tasting food, but just be mindful of the drinks.

I live in NJ, came to Ny on business and wanted something healthy but also delicious. This place was the closest to me and the pics of the food caught my eye. I went there expecting one thing and ended up finding my forever place to come and eat when I’m here. The place is gorgeous and CLEAN, the staff is friendly, not only are they nice but they’re also caring. I told the chef I have high bp and some healthy food is too salty… do you know this man made my food and put the salt on the side. Now that’s love! I ordered the honey bbq mushroom burger and was mad I only got one. B/c I shared my sandwich and was wishing that I didn’t. THAT WAS THE BEST SANDWICH I EVER HAD, didn’t need any napkins because I licked my fingers like it was apart of the meal, real talk! This place fed my soul, from the ambience, the conversation, and the food… I’m definitely coming back soon!!!
Vegetarian options: Everything on the menu!
Dietary restrictions: If you’re looking for a healthier way of living, this is the place to be, they even have freshly squeezed juice. I saw the veggies myself in the refrigerator behind the counter.
Kid-friendliness: It’s a nice place to sit and enjoy dinner with family.

First time I just ate and took no photos.BUT I got some now!!! Soooo, the cucumber water changed my life. The hint of that flavor is just refreshing. And very happy it was not cold. If you want ice just ask. The glass was nice and warm.
The food...???. Perfection! Curry fish taste is an extra flavor that makes you pause and eat slower to savor the tast as long as possible. Mushroom bites is crispy and a bit juicy.
Spread the word to all vegan, vegan curious and upcoming vegans. Cause I got a non vegan who loves their patties and cakes.

I enjoyed their chicken nuggets, they were tasty and gluten-free. I would only come back for this item. Every thing else was just ok sadly. I expected more.

The place is not hard to get to.
The B41 bus will take you there.
I went there with a friend after church. Love, love the chicken, chicken pea, fried broccoli, and fried plantain. The potions are so big that we could not finish it. The juices were great. It's now my # 1 spot to eat out.
The place is clean, and the food is fresh. The staff is also very friendly.
I'm looking forward to going again soon.

Great meal that I think is very homey. You can get a small plate (2 sides), medium (3 sides) or a large (4 sides). I ordered a medium main plate (the citrus chick’n, which was amazingly tasty with its sweet and tangy taste) and I was so full from the tasty combo with the sides. I also loved their appetizers: mushroom bites and the Chick’n drumsticks: these are fried, so a little bit in the unhealthy side, but still tasted great. I highly recommend!
