I have been a patron of this place, and an ambassador when anyone asked me where they can get Jamaican food. What I experienced today in exchange for my loyalty was disgusting. I placed an order for pickup as I do often. On arrival, I was told they did not have my order. When I showed her proof of purchase on my phone, she then claimed that someone had picked up my order. Rather than consider that she’d made the mistake (which she DID), she argued with me and went to fetch a man from the back. He came out kind initially with the intention to resolve, but after watching them talk amongst one another I began to inquire about how long they intended to have me wait there. The issue was not on my end, I was a regular customer, and I had proof of purchase. Was me receiving my order up for debate? Because if not, can I please go? Instead the man condescendingly told me to calm down. When I asked him that he could just give me what I paid for instead of speaking to me like a child, he began puffing his chest and behaving like a barbarian that wanted to fight a woman (my 6’2 boyfriend had showed up and inspired him to act like a fool I guess). It was appalling. After all that, he finally made my food 🙃 They have raised their prices, and the one woman has the customer service of a toad. She is horrible. I’ve spent 100’s of dollars at that place and rather than work with a regular customer, she treated me as though I was lying. I will never be back, and I highly recommend nobody goes there.

We always love coming here because they have tasty and authentic Caribbean food. Prices are fair, portions are generous and affordable. There's so many entrees to choose from. Plenty of rice choices as well. Aside from the usual stewed oxtail, stewed chicken, curried goat and jerk chicken/pork, they have delicious hearty soups, escovich fish and melt in your mouth chicken feet. My father loves it. I've been wanting to try their patties, maybe I will on our next visit. Service from Rochelle at the counter (Kingston gyal!) was always top notch and with a smile. She's just awesome. Great customer service. The place is simple with a couple of tables/chairs. No frills. It's okay, because most busy folks come in and out to get their hot combo meals and leave. They typically don't linger. Glad we found this place.

22 dollars for this crap … this used to be my go to spot for oxtail. Have $22 for a medium oxtail just to have four pieces of oxtail in several pieces of bones the sauce or gravy however, you wanna call it was watery as hell. The rice was mushy and the plantains were very ripe. Yeah I’m definitely never come here again. Very disappointed in a poor quality of this food.
3/142025 I literally picked through the food looking for the rest of the meat because there literally 4 pieces of meat and the rest was bones. I spent my money for this food it was not gifted to me. secondly, if it at least taste good, I probably would’ve given you more than one star. Lastly, this is not the first time that I have bought food from here. The quality has definitely went down so regardless of what the price of oxtail is service should still be top-tier at all times if you cannot afford to provide your customers with food that actually taste good then maybe you should take oxtail off of your menu because it did not taste good. It was extremely watery and I stand by my review of it being not worth the money so sorry not sorry but learned to take proper criticism instead of trying to say that someone is trying to be deceitful because the only person that’s being deceitful here is you.

Today was my first time ordering from here and the food was excellent I had oxtail with rice and peas the portion was filling I was able to have some for later their customer service was welcoming I will definitely return and a referral is in order.
