First time having this tonight. Have been to most of the jerk chicken spots in the neighborhood and this one is amazing! Sauces are delicious and the smoky flavoring is incredible. Also friendly service. Will keep coming back!!!
I came across Steve’s original jerk chicken summer time. I was walking in the area and the aroma from his jerk chicken took me by surprise it reminded me of being back home. I immediately followed my nose & it brought me to 49th & church. I walked in & was immediately greeted by the owner with impeccable customer service. I order the jerk chicken (small) , pumpkin rice, & some steam veggies on the side. Very much affordable I would even pay extra cause the food...

Polite, friendly, offers really good options with great customer service. I always found most places overcooked their jerk chicken and then smother it in sauce as a disguise, which I don't like.
But this place is the real deal! Really moist and well done with great sauce options. Try this place for JERK CHICKEN, you won't be disappointed.
