Stonefruit Espresso + Kitchen

A cozy spot with plenty of seating inside, but can also get busy. Winter monk bowl is flavorful and filling (also added whitefish salad on the side which was great). The winter chili has a bit of heat to it, but the pumpkin cornbread that comes on top was cold and they forgot to add the labneh. Coffee is good.

It was my first time there. I only had the yogurt bowl, but it was plentiful and delicious. Service was fine, but they need better/more comfortable seats. It looks like they are going for this rustic/rural vibe. It just wasn't my thing. I need a little more room and a bit more comfort. But aging, the food was good.

Latte and white fish toast were great and came out quickly.

The real problem is that there is dried coffee on the walls which are also dirty and scuffed. The windows are also streaky and gross.

The staff were polite but there was no break room so the person was forced to sit in the cafe seating area on her break and didn't have a quiet private place to eat her outside food. This takes up a table for people to sit, changes the energy of the space, and also seems super unfair to the staff.

Packages of sugar and other back stock were also on the floor in the eating area.

I just want restaurants in neighborhoods that aren't wealthy to have the same standards as other restaurants.

This establishment underpays their employees, and also has crunchy dry rice.

They are the nicest! Donno why some people complain and say hipster word a lot, complaining on aesthetics or culture just silly, no? Anyway 5star place food is great pastries dalish, coffee kicks sweet spot too

Ordered the “Shewolf Toast” because it sounded like a big deal lol was literally this very sad piece of dry bread. Cappuccino was decent though!

My Iced latte with almond milk was so bitter I threw it out. The banana cake tasted like tar. Sadly a waste of money but I’m glad I checked out the place.

Australians are getting a reputation as coffee snobs and this place made a coffee that is up to the right standard ! Hot but not scalding . Milk bit overheated . Place is clean and staff are charming . Not a huge selection of food. Only really cakes and cookies . Easy to miss this place it's the orange brick building on the corner opposite "Liquors" .

Had the avocado smash with two eggs for breakfast which was decent. It could have used a little bit more flavor, but the salt was available to add. The two eggs did not have runny yolk but still nice. The yogurt bowl was probably better overall than the avocado smash. Overall I think a 4 ⭐ for food.

This was 9am on a July Sunday so the cafe was empty. There were a total of half a dozen guests that came in for takeout, but I was the only dine in guest, which was kind of nice for some quiet ?

Very racist staff. They tried to inferior on one of my guests. They treated me badly because I don't look like them. As a liberal stance I will not accept fascism. Also, it's the most unclean place I've been to recently. That day It smelled like something died and they never bothered to clean it or find it. Pretty much disgusting place. Be aware, it just looks cool. But it's completely garbage.
