Cool little brewery on the waterfront in red hook with views of the Statue of Liberty
Great views, good for groups thanks to plenty of seating indoors and out, dog-friendly and you can order in delivery when you’re hungry (and the occasional pop-up food vendors are usually excellent, just wish they were there more often!). Everything you’re looking for in a casual neighborhood brewery.
Didn't say on google maps that it wasn't open. Annoying to get all the way out here to discover that.
While the setting was beautiful, the service was really rude. it's unfortunate that people feel entitled to such antagonistic behavior. i bought two beers (one for my friend) and they wouldn't let me finish the can i had in my hand. which would also have been ok, if only they asked nicely. and this all happened while i was quietly sitting outside and enjoying the view.
Confusing to get to, but very nice place to hang out.
Beautiful
This might be my favorite brewery in NYC. Stunning views, massive space and great for groups. Big fan of their cider and they also have plenty of beer options. It starts to get really busy around 2:30-3pm and tables get a bit tight around then.
We usually plan to go to lunch nearby at Hometown BBQ or Red Hook Tavern, and then come here after around 1-1:30pm to settle in for a couple hours.
Bring a deck of cards / game(s) and post up for the afternoon - lotta fun and great spot to take out of towners.
Incredible place for watching the sunset and the ferries go by. The beer is great 👍
Great drinks. Amazing vibes. Beautiful views by the water.
Great place with amazing views and magic atmosphere! A gem in RH

Absolutely mediocre beer. The IPAs were like a weird combo of lager and hefe and their German style lager was .. lets just says bad. Not worth the price they charge at all. The only saving grace is the location but it was too loud live music to handle. Disappointed. Also do not try the lobster roll food truck by red hook lobster pound. Horriblly made lobster roll for $27 without taxes and a veggie burger with feta cheese patty! The visit was an nightmare disaster. Would not recommend to anyone
So I'm at this brewery today and I order a $10 beer. After I already paid, the male bartender tells me the keg finished so he asked me if I want a different beer. I said yes, and requested an $8 one. He then claims it's the same price as the one I originally wanted and I have to point out to him it's not. So he asks if I want a refund and I say yes, and he sees I hadn't tipped. Frankly I think tipping culture has gone nuts and tipping for pouring a beer which literally takes 10 seconds to do is insane to me. So he says "it's nice to tip your bartender" and I'm thinking why am I being passive aggressively guilt tripped at a brewery? Especially by this guy who BLATANTLY LIED to my face and tried to overcharge me because he was too lazy to issue a refund. And he expects me to tip him after that?!?! Ridiculous. Some peoples' entitlement is just unreal. And all of this for a mediocre beer. This brewery is extremely popular and it's definitely because it has a lot of space and a killer view, not because the beer is any good, and clearly not the service.
Great views and solid drinks. Highly recommend for the sunset. Then hop over to red Hook tavern or hometown bbq for dinner
This brewery bar offers a prime waterfront location with stunning views of the Statue of Liberty, Manhattan skyscrapers, and Governor's Island. The CBs, especially the stouts, are excellent. The downside is the long queues at both the cashier and restrooms, even for men. The ferry to and from Manhattan is comfortable, but be prepared for a 10-minute walk through a somewhat challenging area.
One of my go to spots in Red Hook. The space is huge, dog friendly and great views of the water and Statue of Liberty. Beer is solid and you can order in food. Love coming here more off times to read or do some work like a weekday afternoon.
