Nice staff, checked in on us frequently, and made themselves available often. If you are afraid of knives, sharp things, loud things, and potential danger, skip it. I can see why people would come here; there's giant Jenga, Checkers, Foosball, and other activities, as well as a bar, and bar snacks. A little high on pricing, but it's cool to check it out once and see if it's your thing that you can do bi-weekly, or monthly.

This was a great experience! Me and husband had a great time! Kim was the best! She was there to help us and give us some tips on how to throw, the place is super clean, they have games while you wait. Food and drinks! Perfect for a date! Can’t wait to go back with friends and family <3

My husband took me here for my birthday and we had such an amazing time! We'd never been axe throwing before, so Jordi (our coach) went over the safety protocols and gave us some excellent training. She had to go tend to a big party that came in, but she checked on us regularly to make sure we were doing ok. After a while, my husband had landed over 10 shots and I hadn't landed any. So Kim came over from the bar (turns out she was a coach too!) and gave me some tips and some very specific adjustments. She refused to give up until I landed at least 1 shot. Shortly after her adjustments, I landed my first shot, and before we left she helped me a bit more and I landed 3 shots in a row! This was such a fantastic experience. We will definitely be back, with more people next time, maybe even for a party! Thank you Kim & Jordi!

I went to Stumpy’s for a work event and we had an axe-llent time. Christian was a great host with undeniable prowess with an axe.. very cool venue with plenty of game and drink/food options! I definitely would recommend this, worth the trip to Industry City ?

I'm not sure if his name was Stumpy but the guy working here with the dark long hair and beard is what makes this place worth coming to. Not only did he help me and my sons with the proper throwing technique he also showed us a bunch of cool challenges to make it even more enjoyable. Definitely recommend it's not as easy as you would think.

Our company just had our team building event here tonight and it was awesome! Everyone had a great time… the environment is relaxing and cool and there were plenty of food and drink options for everyone to enjoy. Christian was our axe throwing instructor and was funny, engaging and kept everyone safe and entertained! We had a blast with all the games and friendly competitions he got us doing. Keith the owner was super friendly and helpful in getting us set up with the right package for our event. Overall A+ experience, highly recommend and would love to come back for another event or just a night out!

Great space and activity. In addition to the axe throwing there are lots of other giant sized games like checkers, connect four, jenga and many more. A must do at IC!

Stumpy's hosted an event for 40+ for me. They did a great job! It was organized, the food (pizza from nearby Table 87) delicious and the ax throwing was so much fun. The group started off shy but after some lessons and practice, everyone was having a fantastic time.

So much fun! Pricing is reasonable, and the staff is super friendly and very entertaining. We went for an hour, and a staff member spent a good 20 minutes showing us how to throw, giving us tips and being generally hilarious with axe-themed puns. I brought my mother and son during family hours on a Saturday and we all had a blast - we even got a few bullseyes! Would highly recommend for something different and fun!

This is about as good as it gets! I made reservations at this place for a goodbye dinner from NYC way back but pandemic variants kept pushing back the event further ad further. The owner Keith could not have been cooler and more accommodating about. This theme ran through the entire experience, from the first day a friend and I discovered their facility recently after i t first opened and we received a tour of the place, down to the actual event itself. Our host for the evening, Christian, was especially cool, patient, and fun as he taught us the proper techniques for throwing . He also showed us. a bunch of cool games we could play (pro tip: ask him to do the foot throw, or the throw where he lands one in between two previously-thrown axes). If you're looking for a fun and laidback friends to eat, drink, and throw some lumber tools this is the spot! Go here fam.

I've been to a few ax throwing spots, but this is definitely my favorite, right in Industry City in Brooklyn. When you hit a bull's-eye, they have a bell for you to ring and let everyone know you did it. It's kind of cool, it's like bragging rights. Also, in my experience, the wood was not so worn the axes wouldn't stick. I've been to some spots where the wood is so worn nothing will stick but here I didn't have that problem. As for the drinks, the IPAs here actually got me pretty saucy, and that doesn't usually happen so quickly with IPAs for me. This is a really great date spot, but in general a fun spot regardless. The instructors were very informative and very friendly, and they didn't let you feel d*** for not necessarily getting it right the first few times. They also have other little games to play outside of the hatchet throwing booths, such as foosball!

Such an awesome experience. It seemed very intimidating at 1st but our axe throwing instructor Christian was the bomb. He gave us all the tips and tricks we needed plus he was super hilarious. Everyone in our group enjoyed themselves and we'll definitely be going back.

First time Hatchet throwing. Amazing staff, felt welcomed shout out to the Night Shift crew. And an Amazing experience. Definitely coming again, with a larger group. Stumpys gives that LumberJack vibe. Very accommodating; couches near by and menu on the table. Our Hatchet throwing coach Christian, was the best, very out going and funny guy. Came by to check on us if everything was alright, came up with games and reminded us the science behind throwing an axe the proper and safe way… If we were living in the days where we had to hunt our food, We would definitely trust Christian with an Axe. Amazing experience.
