BYE QUALITY. As a die hard sugarfish fan and consumer it pains me to write this review but we have had scary slimy and clearly expired fish served to us 3 times on different occasions now (yes we are idiots and keep giving them chances). Today was definitely the last time as I picked up my sashimi and it pulled a slime streak while looking scary dull.Never again. My heart breaks and I’ll miss the old days. Save to say: eating at sugarfish isn’t safe anymore!

Food was good, a bit overpriced but didn’t have an issue with that as much as the service. We ordered the “don’t think, just eat” for $72 pp and the servers didn’t tell us what anything was when they dropped the plates other than “this is best eaten fast” so they can turn the tables. Was a disappointment

Sushi was delicious and alcohol selection was decent. My only complaint is that if you plan on driving, please don't park your car by the restaurant. I had an individual break into my vehicle, so it wasn't a pleasant experience.

Upscale feel. Melt in your mouth sushi. Wonderful staff.
Modern American sushi restaurant. Don't recommend the place if you like sushi. Hmmm

It was our first time at sugarfish and we didn't realize this was a new location! We decided to walk-in on a Sunday around 6pm and were happy to be seated the min we got there. We probably got lucky since we saw a bunch of people waiting by the time we left around 8pm. They do not take reservations so plan to come at an earlier dinnertime to get seated quickly! It's also a no-tip establishment. We got the trust me nozawa omakase set which was very filling! It had a great selection of what we wanted to try and also some fish that we thought was passable on. We separately ordered sweet shrimp which was yum as well. The sushi itself doesn't seem traditional to a traditional omakase but we thought it was a good value. This is a cute date night or friend dinner spot! It's dimly lit and is a cute vibe.
