I have had over a dozen meals delivered from Sultan. Amazingly everything always arrived hot and consistently delicious. The lentil soup is one of the best I’ve had. When we come back from Morocco, Sultan satisfies cravings of tastes from home.

We are vegetarian and had mezza and grape leaves. So delicious. The babaganouj is perfectly hint of smoky eggplant, falafel is crunchy on outside but soft and herbaceous on inside, grape leaves were also the perfect bite texture and filling was “nutty” and not over cooked. Mezza has bit of salad which I appreciate since cant eat pita. They also provided bread and little tahini and veggies to start. Nothing was over salted. They also have back garden seating that is quiet and cool. Service is still being ironed out but definitely coming back!

The food at Sultan moroccan is over the top delicious. I highly recommend sultan moroccan as being one of the best moroccan restaurants in New York. If you love Mediterranean food, this is definitely the place to visit.

Enjoyed a peaceful iftar here during Ramadan. The food was delicious, lamb and couscous soft, Tagine and sides were all enjoyable. Service was also nice. Overall had a pleasant dinner here and would return again. I recommend the Lamb Tagine and the Mixed Meats platter. Halal friendlyDietary restrictions: Halal

Food is always fresh and tastes good consistently. Grilled Branzino and Lamb chops are the best I've had. It is so worth it.

Well if you want delicious and authentic middle eastern flavors Sultan is the spot. If you like lamb, their signiture lamb dish was so good. I chose the rice with it and I'm glad I did. They do spicy really well, not too hot. The portions are filling so be prepared to get your monies worth! Feel free to bring your own wine as we did. No cork fee.

After sightseeing in Brooklyn, I was heading to another restaurant for dinner but happened to pass by Sultan. After reviewing the menu outside, I decided I might as well pop in. The owner was friendly and the interior was cozy. It was clean and had about 11 tables. The bathrooms were clean but tiny. Interesting anecdote -- the health inspector decided to visit while I was having dinner and advised the owner that their health permit was expiring today. I had to track down the owner so I could pay and leave. Their credit card machine wasn't working, but thankfully I had just enough cash. Anyway, I ordered the lamb tagine with couscous. The lamb tagine included potatoes, chickpeas, and olives. I wish it included dried figs or apricots, but not sure if that's an authentic recipe. The serving size was generous and it was pretty tasty, but the lamb was slightly on the tough side. By the way, they also served complimentary pita bread with some sort of tahini sauce. Not the best Moroccan food I've had, but certainly not the worst.

Came here while it was raining, very disappointed the restaurant is closed and under renovation. The door was open and I was able to walk in and see new paint grey bluish color and no one was there for me to ask questions not sure who leaves doors open but completely wasted my time and cab fair going here. Huge disappointment!

Really excellent food. Doesn't look like much when you walk in but everything was super delicious. Had the sultan dip and the salmon kabob platter. Highly recommend both.

This place may not look like much from the outside, but the food actually speaks louder than the decor. If you are into chic ambience and immediate customer service, perhaps this is not the place for you, but if you care more about having a heartily flavored lamb stew, this joint will not disappoint. We ordered the lamb (unfortunately I cannot recall the exact name of the dish, but it had chickpeas, potatoes, and lots of yummy goodness) and it just felt like a big bear hug in a bowl. We also got the mixed grill, which tasted really good, but the chicken was slightly dry. It came with fries, a side salad, and really great hummus. I'd definitely have the lamb and hummus again and am so curious about the rest of the menu!

Delicious food, reasonable price, large portion and attentive staff. What more could you want. The chicken Tagine, Mezza, Lamb couscous and falafel were all great.
