Stopped in for brunch on a Tuesday morning. We sat outside and had great service. The orange juice was fresh and the breakfast was great. The ingredients were fresh and the serving size was large! If you’re staying in Brooklyn this is a must try!

The food was the weakest part of the experience for me, in particular the pancakes. I personally did not enjoy the praline sauce, it added a cheap candy flavor that ruined what was a well cooked pancake. The scrambled eggs were good though. My advice? Ask for standard maple syrup or skip the pancakes.

Not to my liking at all. Potatoes were burnt. Eggs were undercooked. Toast was hard. The fresh squeezed orange juice was the only thing that I liked

We came here for my partner's 30th birthday and it was shamefully a disappointment. The food came out within 5 minutes, signaling that everything was pre-made and not made-to-order, which is uninspiring considering the price. But then, I had ordered an extra egg that was forgotten, and took over 25 minutes - until after I had finished my meal - to come out. Still, the pancakes are definitely special. I just wish the veggies in my grain bowl were freshly cut and not wilted, the rice cold and hard, the bacon re-warmed enough to lose its sogginess...
In addition, I had said in my reservation that we were celebrating a birthday. When it wasn't mentioned upon being seated, I gave a hint to the server and asked if we could get a candle in our pancakes (as I had seen in other customers' photos). He gave me an odd look and proceeded to utterly disregard my request, without even a birthday greeting to my partner by the end.
I understand that this is a high volume restaurant but the frank disregard for our experience felt inhumane. I am sympathetic to the overwork of waitstaff, but this was nonetheless disappointing for such a highly touted space. We spent no more than 45 minutes here, despite having ordered 5 dishes between us, and were rushed off to accommodate the next customer. This was at 10 AM on a Monday in August.
Very busy brunch place with delicious eggs potatoes and toast with good cocktails. Great place overall.

Cool atmosphere, fun (quiet) music. Pancakes were kind of like non-gritty cornbread. Each of us was able to finish a little under 1 pancake. Hazelnut praline was great. Scrambled eggs were also good.
Always a great meal with fantastic staff. One of my very favorite spots for breakfast, lunch or brunch. I'll get there for dinner some time soon!
Not sure why this place doesn’t have an hour wait to get in- it was that good. The IG worthy Sunday Pancakes are not overhyped- the live up to it and the some. Crispy, soft, buttery, and the hazelnut is a perfect balance of savory to balance the sweet. Chef’s kiss. Not to be outdone was the shakshuka with focaccia. My only complaint is I wanted more of that focaccia! Such a perfect bite to soak up the stewy goodness of the shakshuka and runny eggs. I know I’m not highlighting the salad because, let’s be honest, people don’t come to read about salad- but it was also excellent. We added some fried chicken for decadence, but the salad was flavorful and not over dressed. The meal was heavenly. I only wish my stomach had more room to try it all! Will definitely go back.

We were pleasantly surprised that the restaurant took the time and actually acknowledged our birthday guest. They ask when you reserve what the occasion is and had a birthday card ready to greet our girl. Alot of restaurants when you make a reservation will ask what the occasion is and never acknowledge it. This was a nice touch that made our birthday girl smile and not to forget everything we ordered was delcious. Love the hummus and coconut shrimp. Cocktails were crafted nicely. Would definitely come back!
