I found this visit to be pretty neutral in a good way. The setting was easy to settle into. Everything happened as expected.

Sunrise is okay. Prices are very expensive. We're looking at about $9 for a small chai latte. Not a very big menu. Atmosphere is okay.

The French Toast B.E.C. blew my mind. I go there for coffee but forgot that their food is so good too.

The chai is delicious! And highly recommend the BLT - best quality ingredients! Note that they don’t allow laptops on the weekend

Had a really good caramel iced latte and a great egg sandwich (sunrise sandwich). Kind of a picky eater but the arugula and garlic aioli was sooo good. Only bad thing is the menu is a little limited and of course it’s a little pricey. It’s indigenous peoples day and there are a bunch of people on laptops hogging tables, idk if that’s different on a weekday / non holiday.

Superb service from beginning to end.
We live right in corner of this beautiful place, we really love the coffee and the place, but unfortunately when my friends and I (we’re latins) goes there we felt like weird vibe hostile by some stuff members 👎

There was someone in there cursing people out including myself and staff had no guts to say anything. Non-confrontational and immature.
Employees vaping in the kitchen and while they’re taking your order. Like dude, I’m not trying to smell ur raspberry blueberry air while I’m getting food.
They forgot about our order and I had to go back up and ask about it. They blamed it on a power outage but I ordered cold food.
Paid $45 plus tip for two coffees and two sandwiches but it took 30 minutes to make.
I’ve worked in service for a while and I don’t understand how a business can function like that.
Intention is good and it’s a nice place but it’s seems that the people working there. Coffee is great, food was meh. Crappy service and staff.

The environment was nice and the waiters were very sweet, however I think that the food was generally ok. Nothing was bad but nothing was really good. The overall experience was nice though.

First visit- Overpriced small portions that took way too long to arrive
Second visit- Friend and I were completely ignored by the barista chatting with friends for long enough that we just left
The only coffee shop on this side Bushwick that is good

I spend a couple hours here a couple times a week and I bring friends who are visiting here. The Sunrise sandwich is delicious as is everything on their menu that I've tried. I like the Sunrise sandwich on the croissant more than the roll.
I don't smoke, but the smoking on the patio reminds me of Europe (a good thing -- especially when I see the whiny, new-to-Bushwick hipsters get offended that someone dare smoke... in a smoking area). I like the vibe, but it can get packed on weekends. Small kitchen, so service can be slow... but it's worth the wait.
