Warning this guy here is a racist and I am reporting this place to the Better Business Bureau.
So I was hospitalized at NYU for a day and when discharged I was so hungry. I went here and ordered beans rice and fish, bake chicken rice and fried, lentil soup, and some other things. Thins guy was taking care of my order when a Caucasian man walked in this guy just ran to the guy and abandoned what he was doing.
There was a Hispanic heavy set, short lady who was attending to some food with gloves on who was attempting to take off her gloves to help me.
When I asked the short Hispanic guy with the cap who had just neglected me in the middle of my order why he had done this, he replied “ because I was black and the man was Caucasian”.
This place needs to be closed as I will also be reporting this incident to “ the department of Human Rights for racial discrimination.

Came on a Tuesday morning to get breakfast. The breakfast sandwich I ordered was without a doubt made by a seasoned grill chef. Meat was cooked through and had great color in it. Eggs were fully cooked, no shells and cheese was nice and gooey. The bread was perfectly toasted, cut and wrapped to perfection. I pride myself on making amazing breakfast sandwiches and I struggled to agree with myself with the thought of making this better, a thought I usually have after eating a breakfast sandwich. Breakfast sandwich on a hero is def 5 stars.
Service wise I give a 4 - the grill chef actually greeted me while the counter lady was on the phone. Sounded like she was taking a large order but she was a nice lady in her way of speaking to the person on the phone and to me later when I paid.
Atmosphere is definitely a 2.5 because the place is spacious with a whole other side to sit and dine. But there were flies in the dining space, I enjoy sitting down and eating but hate swatting flies while trying to eat. There also wasn’t a garbage can and you put your basket on this shelf and you put your other garbage in a tray bin with your plate. In terms of “feeling” I definitely did not want to stay longer than needed as I also saw roach on the wall so it’s not very settling when eating and dining.
Would I come back? Yes, just for the breakfast sandwich.

Nothing to write home about. They’re stingy with the food. I was still hungry after eating this portion. The food needed seasoning. They didn’t provide ketchup, napkins or anything. I’d only go back if I was desperate. Definitely wouldn’t make a special trip for this.

It is very affordable and delicious. I always order their omelettes and coffee. They also have a good pizza and bagels.

Ordered a breakfast burrito which comes with homefries and egg i payed extra for bacon they send me the burrito without the bacon and a wonderful surprise of chicken bits from god knows where. Truly disappointed and disgusted how they can mess up something so simple it was beyond greasy. Just dont bother here to be honest i tried to look past the negative reviews but now i understand why completely!!!!

The food is terrible, the place full of flies, the eating area dirty. The atmosphere feels heavy (1 or 2 people are not enough to serve all the clients, hire more workers). The only good thing is the coffee but I’m not gonna come back again.
How bad the food is. I visited the place this afternoon and it really left a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered a piece of salmo and the taste was horrible as if it had already gone bad.

I had breakfast here with my friend and the lady there is so nice we ordered food tasted great I would definitely recommend this place and would go there next time I’m around the hospital comfortable place to sit and eat breakfast and lunch thank you ??
