I felt compelled to write this review from my honeymoon in Japan. My partner and I have continually commented on the extent to which sushi katsuei holds up even in the context of Japanese sushi restaurants. This place is just so good. It’s the perfect low key and serene place. The omakase is excellent.
welcoming, warm and relaxed atmosphere gives way to one of the best omakase we have ever had. they don’t need holier than thou atmosphere - the sushi speaks for itself. each bite utter perfection. A true gem.
The omakase was really good fresh fish we love it 👌🏻
But WAIT time was 40 mins +++ another dish 1 hr ++ we spent 2 hrs eating.
Recommend not to come when you’re hungry.
