Always a great time dining at Sweet Basil. Fresh, delish with a calm atmosphere. Staff is very attentive. My go to is a mix of their signature dish. Order the the Mango chicken and add shrimp - mouthwatering and delish, the plating is also exquisite. Also try the Panang shrimp. Come back and tell me what you think. 10 out of 10.

Sweet Basil is a very nice Thai food restaurant on Franklin avenue. Easy seating at the time we went. Very clean and cozy setting.

The food is all traditional Thai food and very tasty. As usual you can indicate how spicy you want your food.

The service was very quick for freshly cooked food. Very pleasant, freindly and attentive staff.

Very clean place and loads of seating at the time we happened by. We had no issues getting seating for three for an early dinner at 5:30pm during the week.

I would recommend Sweet Basil if you’re looking for Thai food! This is our new place for Thai food.

Food is pretty good! The spring rolls and sauce are always disappointing, but overall a reliable Thai spot. Nice service, too!

Should have remained closed and not re-open. Not as good as previous place. Honestly, the worst thai food I had in a long time. We ordered, pad thai, pad see ew, papaya salad, and scallion pancake to go. Absolutely, zero flavor, all the food was bland / flat, the meat (chicken) was rubber in both main dishes. Papaya salad was a soup. Furthermore the pad thai and the pad see ew noodles had a weird smell / taste which made us wonder about the freshness of the ingredients.....Plenty more thai food restaurant in the area. Avoid this one!

I got the Pad Se Ew and it was absolutely delicious. Super tender and flavorful beef and flat noodles.

This is my go-to place in the neighborhood for when I'm craving classic Thai food. It's delicious and affordable, and the staff is kind and generous. You don't have to like this place, but some of the low reviews seem pretty ignorant, if not racist, so maybe take those with a grain of salt.
