Came in with a party of 15 for a person’s milestone birthday and unfortunately had a terrible time. It was storming outside and they set our party in a backyard porch, where it was cold and the ceiling was leaking rainwater into our overpriced food. Food and drinks did not arrive at our table until an hour into seating (if you were lucky enough to had your order taken). Management did not address our concerns and was very condescending. I refuse to come back to this establishment. Definitely do not recommend.

I was there to celebrate a milestone birthday for someone , her 60th, and this place absolutely ruined it. First, they changed seating for the reservation, then we sat for 1.5 hours before any water was served to the table. The waiter told us there was a larger party coming in so that would take priority (basically it was going to be busy because of the larger party). We were a party of 15. Half of the table had orders taken and served. The other half didn't get food orders taken until the waiter brought out food for the first half of the table and realized after some back and forth he erred in not taking the orders. Then the roof of the patio was leaking onto the table. The manager(s) were unprofessional in how everything was handled. There was too much back and forth instead of accepting that these errors were the fault of Staff, even after having been notified of the leak, we weren't moved, we had to stay in the spot. The fix? Offer some complimentary alcohol. No! Offer to comp rhose food items and drinks fron the bill, shjft the tables even! Nope! Just didnt criss their mind. They just didnt care enough to address the situation accordingly. Imagine paying a deposit, expecting to have a great time because of stellar reviews, and then your experience is sub par? Then there's the nerve to add 20% gratuity to the bill and expect that to be paid! Absolutely not! By the way...gratuity is automatically added to parties of 2 or more. Never even heard of that. People came far to travel to this restaurant to support a black owned business. Majority of the guests, myself included, experienced this place for the first time. It was a mess the entire night. Im sorry the birthday person had such a milestone night ruined. Never again will I patronize this establishment. Never will I recommend anyone to go here. It was obvious to me the party in the back patio were forgotten. The larger party in the front of house was well attended. So if tou hav seating in the back patio, run....you'll have a terrible time. If you're front of house, your experience may be better.

I had an amazing time hosting my party at Sweet Catch! The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating from start to finish. With any event, small issues can come up, but the team was more than happy to step in and quickly find solutions, which made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better venue or staff.

I celebrated my early birthday brunch with my girlfriends on Saturday, January 3rd, and everything was amazing.
The service was great, the food was delicious and Sweet Catch truly made me and my girls feel welcomed and loved.
The cornbread, crab cakes, catfish, and grits were too delicious. Other foods my girlfriends had were shrimp and grits, country breakfast, and the shrimp devil eggs. Just delicious.
The Mimosa (Mango, Pineapple & Strawberry) & Peach Bellinis were just so on point.
The owner was there, and she was just lovely. The staff was so nice and welcoming. I will definitely be back.

Make sure to ask for a paper menu for accurate pricing. One of our items was eight dollars more expensive on the bill than the online menu. The manager had our waiter show us the paper menu, which wasn’t even offered to us to order from, because it had the more expensive price point. Please update the prices in your online menu if that is what you are telling all your customers to order from.

I went to celebrate my sister's birthday. Everything was exceptional! From the time we walked in until the time we left. My only concern was that we did not take pictures of the food, but you will have a great experience.
The first service was great — Lily took great care of us.
The cocktail were really fun. The grits were perfectly cooked and really flavorful. I could’ve kept on eating the grits the whole night.
I wish the shrimp had a little bit more flavor I didn’t feel like it was adding much to the dish.
For the red snapper dish, my favorite part was the cabbage which was jampacked with flavor. The fish and the black rice were really flavorful as well.
