People totally forget they in brooklyn surrounding around similar ussr restaurants but they beat French size of the portion they have it much more smaller really smaller. Also waiters absolutely not professional we had table of six and order avocado salad which came out like a shot of vodka coming !! you see 6 people on the table you should open your mouth and advice its tiny portion. Also order fried patatoes they served in 3 inches pan designed for 1 egg to fry. Chicken pate served like black caviar almost same price wt....f. its chicken ? kidding.Absolutely not professional service with a very very tiny portions please see pictures attached. Also ponchike untaste at all. I would not recommend here owner must be very very greedy.

A very nice spot to go on Coney Island Ave, food is good with great presentation, attentive and friendly services. It’s a nice spot to take friends, my friends were very happy I took them there for a birthday meal.

During my recent visit to Sweetspot Cafe, I had the pleasure of experiencing a delightful blend of professional service and exquisite cuisine. The dishes that stole the show were the impeccable Rack of Lamb and the flavorful Shrimp Scampi.

The name of the restaurant matches its service and food. It's a relatively small place with a good choice of food and friendly staff. Highly recommend for family

Food is excellent, but 18% mandatory gratuity for a party of 2 is audacity. Surprise after nice dinner. Gratuity should be up to the customer. Waiter explained us that it is for use of plates and utensils. Very funny!

We had an excellent meal at Sweet Spot Café on Coney Island Avenue. They provide good service with attentive staff speaking both Russian and English. They work with our pace, which was a relaxed time with family for a celebration. I had Chilean sea bass, which was outstanding. Each item on my plate was delicious: the fish, the vegetables and the mashed potatoes, which were very good. The sea bass was moist and scrumptious. My companions enjoyed their chicken and lamb kebabs. Note that kebabs here are thin slabs of meat, not the cubes you get elsewhere. People really like the octopus appetizer. Not a lot of octopus but tasty. Greek salad was good. Not an enormous portion but but tasty. Some people really like the calamari. I thought it was a less than generous portion. Overall we would have liked a little more volume to the appetizers. The entrees were just right. Some members of our party had soup, which came in good sized portions. One person had a Georgian beef soup that he liked. Two people had green borscht, a summer soup with tasty greens in it. We had rose wine, which I was not crazy about. Might be my taste and not the wine. You can bring your own wine. No corking fee. Note there is a $30 fee if you bring your own dessert. Nice basket of bread. I really appreciate the dish of soft butter that came with it. For five of us the bill for five entrees, three appetizers, two glass of wine and three bowls of soup came to $250 including tip for a very good meal which we were there for a few hours. Sweet Spot Cafe is a good place for a celebration.
