I’ve ordered takeout from here over 10 times and have always felt that the food and takeout service was exceptional.
This past week I finally had the chance to come eat in person and it was amazing! Generous portions, kind service and heartwarming food. I highly recommend eating here if you’re in the neighborhood.

There's a lot of Mexican restaurants/trucks in the area but none come close to Taco Callejero. The chilaquiles are life changing.
Edit: Went back and the food was really bad. Meat was dry, quesadillas were way too oily, enchiladas tasted wrong.

Exceptional birrias!!! Very nice owners and staff.
Exceptional tortillas, and good execution on taco fillings. Tortillas were soft and chewy with fresh corn. Some of the meats could have been more tender and fatty for their respective traditions (pastor, carnitas, carne asada).
Service was quick and super friendly. The place is small, cozy and feels authentic. Prices are fair.

I ordered take out but at 12pm they were kinda busy but handled it quickly.
I got 2 steak and 2 al pastor tacos. They were both incredible!!! I favor the Al pastor though. Will be going back to sample some more of their goodness!!
