I’ve only gotten tortas from them couple times and they were really tasty, fairly priced at $12.00, but other items on their menus seemed unreasonably overpriced
Chorizo was dry, limes were juiceless, kid at the counter almost f’d up my order twice but I caught him in time.
I decided to try something new at Taco Mix, so I ordered the birria ramen instead of my usual birria tacos. It was a great decision! The birria ramen was very tasty and had a unigue flavor. The meat was juicy and tender, and the broth was rich and savory. The noodles were cooked just right, with a nice chewy texture. Everything combined together tastes delicious. It's my first time trying out the birria burger. I also got to try the birria burger for the first time, which was another great choice.
One of the best fish and birria tacos i ever tried. Their sauces remind me of mexico city because everyone serves them in mini bags. The agua de guayaba was unique because its a slushy texture! Thank you taco mix for being athentic.
Pozole tastes like salt water, couldn’t even finish it.
I work in Industry City since 2018. This place has been around since then, and unfortunately, I've witnessed the slow but steady decline. It started out great - they offered actually fair prices for good food. They even had daily specials for different days of the weeks which were reasonable options.
Some time in 2022 or 2023, they randomly got rid of these specials, and the menu prices saw a steep incline. Doubt that was due to global inflation, since prices skyrocketed by like 50% within a year. Pozole used to be $10 and now it's upwards of $18 for the same freakin thing. Don't get me started on their "meal special" for which they charge something lke $25 for three tacos and a drink...
This place is a disappointment to the Mexican community in the neighborhood. The value you get out of this restaurant is extremely low for the price. Bring back affordable Mexican fare for the community!

24$ for three tacos and a bag of chips and 4oz of Guacamole. I wanted spanish food but the **Full meal special** advertised on their placard outside the door was a big bite out of your wallet. I work in construction nearby... but I think this is a One&Done spot sorry-Uploaded 2 photos. Didnt eat the bag of chips because its 100% junk.
