Ordered the Beef Birria Burrita and it tasted good but $17 for a Burrita that’s the size of a rolled taco at some places was pretty disappointing. I’ve had tequila shots that were bigger than the amount of consume that came with it. I understand costs are really high right now, but that’s just overpriced and not worth the money.

Tacombi ruined the whole order. I created an order for PICKUP via UberEats. They gave my entire order which was for my family, to a delivery person and had the nerve to debate about it when it was being picked up. Pickup orders cant be given to delivery ppl. How can I track my food? You can't just give my food to whoever, there is an obvious designated person ( me or my husband). Then I called restaurant, same ridiculousness. Finally, I had to contact UberEats support to report the issue and be refunded. I will NEVER order again from Tacombi, but thanks for wasting my gas, time and money.

Very cold and standoffish, one of the many places in Williamsburg that only cares about your money if you’re a transplant you can tell they make assumptions about who will tip them good upon entrance. Nobody greeted me when i walked in but they made sure to welcome the next party behind me with a big smile and open arms. The waitresses are a bit careless to say the least, the consome cups are the size of a shot glass. The price doesn’t match with the amount of food they give, you can find better Mexican food at the truck down the block!

Honestly one of the last places in Williamsburg that doesn’t make you want to die looking at the prices. Frozen marg is so good you can’t complain about anything else.
Had an issue with the form of payment, just asked if they could refund the last purchase and charge me again for the new one. They refused and said that it's not their problem, even though I started with wanting to make sure they actually got the money - ie I was doing it out of convenience for both parties. Just unnecessary, rude, and easily rectifiable. Not to mention that we were the only patrons there. Diria a otros clientes elegir otro restaurante.

I've eaten at all Tacombi in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens. I dunno what they do differently at the Metropolitan ave location, but they make the best tacos. The freshness in ingredients, the ratio of protein to taco, the proteins are never over cooked. All the other locations have the similar ambiance, cool staff, but I think if I had to unnecessarily rank each tacombi restaurant based on food quality, I would place Metropolitan Ave at the top. The differences are subtle but still acknowledable

Has been very hit or miss for us. The Al pastor tacos, guac, horchata and margaritas are great. Chicken tinga was super dry and bland. On our first visit the service was great - super attentive and fast. However on our most recent visit it was a different story even though the restaurant was only 1/3 full. Took forever to get menus and water and they acted annoyed to have to take our order at all. Also my husband ordered a frozen margarita that still hadn’t arrived by the time we finished our food so he asked to switch it to a non-frozen version to get it faster - they proactively offered to comp it which we thought was nice, but then when the bill came they charged us anyway
