Today was my first and last time ordering food from this truck. Even though there are other options for Mexican food in the area, I wanted to spread my support to this business. For starters, they had minimal ingredients, so they couldn’t prepare most of the food I requested. I ordered a lemonade to drink and it was served warm. They could’ve easily told me they were out of ice, but they served me a warm lemonade instead. I asked for a pork skin taco, but it was not pork skin. After I was given my order, I was given a total which was more than the prices listed on the menu. When I inquired, I was told that the prices on everything increased today; September 11, 2021. Of all days, they increased their prices today which was very disappointing and insulting. This food truck does not have their prices posted. They’re charging prices similar to the restaurants in the area but they’re not offering the same quality. The tacos were dry and the quesadilla was not worth the price. I was very disappointed in my experience. There are many other options for tacos and other Mexican food in the area; I strongly recommend going elsewhere. I will be filing a complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs and the Department of Health. Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, none of the workers were wearing gloves or masks. They’re clearly not concerned about the health and safety of the people they’re serving.
