I DON’T WANT THIS TO BLOW UP BUT OMG YUM ? ⭐️ SIX STARS ⭐️ the Birria Tacos were juicy and rich with a generous amount of tender beef and finely chopped onion/cilantro. The Birria was savory and perfect for sipping and dipping ? THE CHIPS… omg the chips… Perfection. ???? I will absolutely be frequenting this gem. ? and yes, that is an avocado pit in the guacamole ? these people know what’s up

I recently tried the Al Pastor Torta from this truck and it was nothing short of amazing! The flavors were incredibly authentic and exciting. The service was prompt, and the staff were friendly. If you’re in the area and craving delicious food for a reasonable price, this truck is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

We hired Tacos El Poblanito for a corporate event. The overall feedback from employees was great! The food was delicious - made fresh to order. Tacos El Poblanito staff was courteous and very professional. They did not disappoint! Highly recommended - We will definitely be hiring them for future corporate events.

Cashier overcharged both my friend and me. Seems like this isn't the first time. You'd think living in NYC, you would assume Spanish can be understood by other minorities. Please don't be racist to your customers and be kind to everyone.

BEWARE: If you use a card to pay, the cashier might charge you a tip without your consent. I went back to request for the 20% extra charge to be refunded - I received no apologies & attitude that I didn't want to leave a tip.Food was below average.

Not really worth the price even in Dumbo. Very dry and thick tortilla. Actually couldn't finish it ):

Unsanitary. Tacos are dry and needs a lot of hot sauce to wash down. There are much better tacos and bowl at Los Tacos a block over on front street.

Solid. Carnitas & Chorizo tacos were perfect. Not very large but well stuffed, and double torted which is essential for good tacos. Horchata also perfect. Two tacos & horchata for 11 dollars (I tipped). Great dumbo option.

This is for the truck located a couple blocks north of the Manhattan Bridge in Dumbo. Happy to recommend this Mexican food truck. Ordered a delicious, well-seasoned, well-prepared, beef burrito today for lunch. Sooooooooooo much better than the faux "Mexican" grill chain joint, although that's not saying much. But try it for yourself. $10 for a burrito; $1 for a can of soda. EXTENSIVE menu of Mexican dishes. Check them out. Their trucks are either multicolored or, as today, pure white. (Go figure.) Recommended. They should buy the Google location registration so I can review them there, too. (Yelp is kind of passe these days.)

My review is based on the Birria tacos that is what I ordered they were crunchy and yummy, but they also have a lot of variety of tacos, bowls etc. and the prices are good, I loved the birria tacos and I will be back for sure.

Note: This review was for the location at New Utrecht and 75th/Bay Ridge Av. This listing is for a truck at New Utrecht and Fort Hamilton, which is a different location. Most likely a different Truck but same people. I have been unable to confirm until now. I just spoke with an employee, who confirmed that their truck @ 45th Street/Fort Hamilton is NOT the same as the one at 75th/Bay Ridge. Please note this review is only for the 75th street one. I am so happy to see these guys became a permanent fixture. They have good tacos, plates, and the standard taco truck items. They are friendly, speak English and Spanish, and look like they take cards or will do so shortly. It is a personal joy for me to walk out my backdoor and see the faint glinting of their multicolored lights reflecting off the ell. I used to go for walls before the area became dangerous at night. There aren't many lights in the area and there aren't many people around after dark since Paradise Fruit & Vegetable closed. There is an industrial hardware store here now, remniscent of lower New Utrecht businesses. Without a bodega on this side of Bay Ridge Avenue, there isn't much life. The truck makes this a corner with light and stool and pedestrian customers as well as deliverymen: enough to give it a pulse. It feels safer to walk over here now, and tacos are an excellent excuse.Their Carne and pollo tacos are good. But the real specialty is their Brooklyn-style Bírria. I don't know enough about Birria to know how different theirs is, except that it is beef and not lamb. It is amazing, with that home-stewed comfort. Fried, seasoned toetillas stay crunchy against the salty, wet beef because of a layer of melted cheese. It hits that southwestern US tastebud with the cheese amd beef. Their beans and rice taste like I am a kid again, which has been one of the hardest things to find. I plan to try the flauta pollo eventually as the quest one was flawless. The flavors are fresh and on point without being overseasoned or bland. And a there's nothing like a walk at 3 am toward rainbow lights for comfort food. Please never leave.

with the number of taquerias and taco trucks on Fifth Ave in Park Slope, one would think that Tacos El Poblanito would get lost in the crowd. NOPE. this big taco truck serves up tasty tacos, burritos, flautas, huaraches, and more. parked in front of Smith's Tavern (close to the corner of 9th St and Fifth Avenue) most times--the truck is typically parked from day to night. cash, card and Zelle accepted as payment. ordered a variety of tacos and they were really good. ordered a camarones (shrimp) taco, suadero (brisket) taco, and al Pastor (pork) taco. all the tacos were made to order and tasted fresh. each taco is double-tortillaed and come hot off the grill. hard for me to pick a fave amongst the three as all were made proficiently and were packed with flavor and a savory protein. tacos also come with cucumber slice for palate refreshing and green sauce (spicy tomatillo salsa) which i drowned my Suadero taco with! tacos range in price from $3-$4. total on my order: $9.50 + tip. staff is a two-person team. friendly and diligent. drops mic cuz i am tacoing about tacosi outzzz
