Authentic south brooklyn hangout. One of the only ones left for long time brooklynites. Many films have been filmed here of the years including The Departed & Shaft. It open its doors in the early 1900s as a community gathering center for Gerritsen Beach
Hidden marina w bar and inside seafood kitchen. Popular with locals especially when music is playing.
Food is good and seasoned well. Clams are fresh, full of ocean taste and smell and at right temperature. Shrimp basket is large hot sautéed shrimp w garlic w options of sauce. Shrimp cocktail is 16-20sized shrimp w cocktail sauce. Lobster roll was good sized and delicious.
Haven't been here in 40+ years, but a lot of good memories
Local rock bands Place has tons of room. No overcrowded feeling marina is nice to look at
Great spot by the water for Drinks..Awesome crowd and Great Bartenders!
Large bar area and a stage.Suggest going on a night when they are having live music.Other times it can tend to be a bit slow.

This venu has a nice stage with a good sound system. The bands that perform play great music. I enjoy the drinks.
My father and his friend's used to take my fishing from the Tamaqua Marina back in 1969 and then they would go in here for a few beers...I wonder if anyone remembers Jim Sweeney... he was my father's friend back then.Cheers everybody ??
