From my FB post yesterday:"Wellp, that's it - I'm never not having samosa and coffee for breakfast again. <3Walked into a place called Tania Coffee Shop, a mom-and-pop storefront that balances pretty wallpaper and coffeeshop trimmings with the bodega clutter and sharp corners endemic to Midwood. Based on the hospitality, the neighborhood, the menu, the type of masala and the number of "achcha"s, "bhalo"s and "dhonnobad"s being said into cellphones, I'm 95% certain this is a Bengali joint.Delicious, understated and the very definition of "unassuming." Gonna have these perfect spicy potatoes and this tamarind sauce in my head all day, and tomorrow morning I'mma need a refresher."(And I'm sorry I missed today - late dropping off my daughter at school, my own fault! Be back tomorrow.) :)
