I lived in Chicago for like 15 years and Chicago by-and-large has better Mexican food than New York. This is one of the first spots I've hit that really impressed me. Really enjoyed the food and the vibes were nice. We shared guacamole which was excellent, really well seasoned and with great texture. I got the birria tacos, and I went with people who got (IIRC) shrimp tacos and fish tacos respectively. Everybody was happy with their order. Will go back, no doubt.

The place is good. The food is good. My only thing is that something changed in the kitchen. The burritos used to be juicy and savory. Lately it's been a little bit on the dryer side not much flavor in it and I think it's missing an ingredient. It's still a good place to go if you're hungry and the food is good I just can't say it's outstanding anymore. When I make a stop next week I might change this do something better

Went to eat there on a Tuesday evening and found some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in NYC. Frozen Margaritas were delicious! Service was also great. Both the waitress and bartender were nice, kind and fast! New Mexican spot for me and my fam!
