They have good DJ the the calamari that I ate, tasted very rubbery and then one of a lot of money for it. The drinks are on point. The fish with french fries tasted good as well.

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening and decided to try a variety of dishes. We ordered the Tassot (grilled goat), Griot (fried pork), wings, fried catfish, and oxtail penne pasta. Every dish was cooked perfectly—especially the goat and pork, which were surprisingly tender and flavorful. The wings could’ve used a bit more seasoning or spice, but they were still enjoyable.
We also tried the lychee and Don cocktails, which were absolutely delicious and appropriately strong—we liked them so much we each had two rounds. Despite the bartender being very busy, the drinks remained consistently well-made and tasty.
I did have slight food envy seeing the mac and cheese at another table and regretted not ordering it—it looked incredible.
Although we’re not from the area, we wanted to try something new, and we’re so glad we did. The portion sizes were generous, and everything was satisfying.
A few areas for improvement: based on personal preference, we would’ve liked a touch more salt in some of the dishes. Also, while we’re from Brooklyn and don’t mind a more direct or no-frills style of service, a bit more friendliness from the staff could go a long way—others might appreciate a warmer interaction.
