Whenever in Brooklyn, I come here. The food over the last 11 years has NEVER wanted in quality. Always fresh, always flavorful. J*** chicken is nice and spicy the way it should be. The coleslaw is just right and I love the hint of mango in it. Rice and peas is perfectly cooked. I literally have no complaints other than it's too far from me now that I do not live nearby.
The oxtail and rice here is the best of anywhere ive had it. and theyre sea moss is perfect. People complaining about the customer service need to chill! Its a take out place. If you want good west Indian food you gotta deal with bad customer service anywhere in Brooklyn. If the costumer service is too good the food doesnt hit right.
I am rating this restaurant's pastry. I find their pastries to be tasty, delicious and flavorful. I normally do not eat carrot cake but one day I tried it and oh boy! the flavor was very balance the carrot was not overpowering. Cost is inexpensive!
