1st time experience:
Cashier total …
Me: You take credit cards?
Cashier: Yes
Me: tapped my card(Amex).
Cashier: YOUR CARD DECLINED. Lordly as she show me the machine and receipt.
Me: Looking confused and embarrassed because she said it so loud people outside can hear. I know my card is good. Ok! I will pay cash.
I did a walk of shame out the door. Immediately called Amex in the car. They didn’t see the transactions and nothing is wrong with my card. I assume they don’t take Amex, but why wouldn’t the cashier express that.

2nd experience today
Me: Do you have more of the carrot cake drops in the back or that’s all?(I wanted to get 2 dozens)
Server: No. annoyed that I asked.
Me: Ok then I will take all 6 with 4 drops. Thanks.
She ignored me. I see she didn’t pack it up, but I didn’t say anything.
Cashiers: Your wheat bread is …
Me: That’s not my order.
Cashier: So who bread is this like I ordered it annoyed.
Me: Miss I don’t know who bread is that.
Cashier: What you getting?
Me: I express to the server the 6 carrot drops and 4 regular drops as I pointed on the glass showing her. Since she said no more at the back
Cashier: Asking server they have more at the back?
Server: I already told her no why you telling her different. They both exchange more words.
Me: sever you ok? The cashier didn’t tell me anything.
Server: what you want?
Me: Once again for the 3rd time, 6 carrot drops and 4 drops. Simple!!
Server: As she bags my buns roughly placing them hard on the counter instead to the cashier.
Me: To cashier ok what cards you guys take because you embarrassed me last time, so not a second time.

Listen, I live in Georgia, so when I’m leaving, I make sure to stock up on baked goods I can’t get there. I gave this place a chance twice, and the same unprofessional behavior happened both times. I take that very seriously because we run a business too, and we would never tolerate anyone being nasty to customers who are paying us. It’s unacceptable.

I don’t care if the carrot drop is the last one on earth — I will never go back there. Unfortunately, I even introduced this place to my family in NYC, and after hearing about the poor service, they won’t waste their time either. They passed.

And as for the owner — please don’t insult the reviewers. The issue is clear, and pretending a phone call will fix it is pointless. Improve the service instead of dismissing the feedback.

Curry goat patty and coco bread is delicious. The rock cakes and the bulla are delightful 😊

Their food taste has gone down quite a bit. The patties are no longer hitting like they use to. The curry goat patty is had was a bit salty and way too spicy. Rum cake was too sweet and bread wasn't baked all the way through but you wouldn't noticed until you open it. Not good.

Since I've found this bakery, that has been my place to go for fresh bread and things. However the service today was poor. Apparently I was either ordering to much or the lady at the register feet was hurting because her comment was Ms. you have me walking up and down to much. Not in a joking way either in a nasty tone in front of other customers. Even though I have patronize that bakery sometimes 3x for the week, and have introduced it to other her attitude has turn me off.

Delicious baked goods but nasty workers! I visited on Thursday August 14th and the cashier have the worse attitude, can’t even ask a question. I stopped buying here months ago decided to give it another shop but same attitude!

I bought the tutti fruity and have for 3 days and it expired b4 the 3 days

After waiting in line for a period of time here goes my experience.
Me: Can I have a bag of bulla
Server: No bulla
Me: let me get 4 sugar bun
Server: No sugar bun
Me: do you have the round bread.
Server: with an attitude what you see is what we have you need to come early.
Please note it's 4:30pm in the afternoon, when normal average person get off work, to add to that the person infront of me ordered chicken patties and he was told there's only callalou left.

I ask for three items which was not available and I felt by asking i was annoying towards the server.
Please give them training because my family and I enjoy the goody there.

Wow what an experience ! Lived in the neighborhood for years and never tried this spot, i guess there was a reason why. The patties are sub par, the chicken patty tasted like they put lemons in it which isn’t the taste im supposed to get. Its supposed to taste like curry chicken but no i got a wingstop styled patties😅 and on top of that the lady whom was taking the orders and serving us was rude and lacked and lacked social skills. Id rather eat a frozen golden krust dollar tree patty 🤷🏽‍♂️

Patties are not the same, they used to be delicious. They don't taste good, too much flour in the meat. The crust is not as flaky, just tough, like they hired golden crust. I'm so disappointed. I used to buy the frozen patties by the dozen and ship them to friends. Now I don't know if I'm going back.
