Some of the most delicious Turkish food I've ever had. Highly recommend the lamb gyro. Water was always refilled, and servers were friendly. Huge portions.

I really wanted to like this place cause the servers & staff were so damn nice but this was one of the worst meals I've had in a long time. My appetizer was way too salty, my entree was way too bland, and my rice had weird hard pieces in it like it was poorly cooked. My date did not like their food either. The only thing I liked was the complimentary Turkish bread they give you. Grade A service though, but I cannot try that food again so I won't be returning.

One of my new favorite spots in Brooklyn. The Adana kebab was so so so delicious. Amazing portions. Kazandibi was the best I’ve had in NY & it was HUGE! The atmosphere is relaxing, quiet and calm. Great service. Very attentive!

I always look forward to TAVA. The food is always so good and the service. Yesterday we went, first time the mash potatoes was terrible. It had an after taste. I brought it to the attention of the hosts. She wasn’t helpful at all. Stating that it’s the same. My granddaughter agreed. I didn’t want to eat the rest. She ignored us for a while. The regular person was off yesterday and second time that this host is not very nice. I had to call her again after waiting some time and asked for the rice instead. Was turned off because I love TAVA. Hope when I return the mash potatoes will be better. Also gave us a small amount of stale hard bread and had to request for more fresh bread

In the heart of the city, there's a Turkish restaurant that stands out in its simplicity and the warmth of its people. It's a place where the food speaks of a rich history, a legacy of seafarers who, after months at sea, longed for hearty meals upon their return. Their cuisine evolved to be fulfilling, often rich in fats - a necessity for those harsh times.I encountered a Turkish lady there, a familiar face from another local establishment. Her presence adds an authentic touch to the place, reminding one of the genuine roots of the dishes served. Turkish cuisine, inherently rich, poses a challenge for eateries striving to adapt to healthier preferences. This restaurant, however, has nearly mastered this balance. While not entirely aligned with my palate, the food is compelling enough to keep me returning. So, in the spirit of earnest recommendation, yes, visit this Turkish spot. It's a place where simplicity and sincerity reign, offering flavors that echo a storied past, somewhat adjusted to fit our contemporary tastes.

I was glad to find a Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant in the Slope that could accommodate a large group and had a varied menu as we were divided according to tastes in food. We were a table of 10 with a reservation for Saturday night but were late. Thankfully, our reservation was held for us. The table bread was delicious and it was refilled as our hummus and other appetizers encouraged its disappearance. I was especially delighted by the service, stem waterglasses and little niceties that made our evening special. Our order was attractive on the plates, tasty and plentiful. The desserts looked good and those who had them enjoyed every mouthful.
