Let's start with the positives. 5 stars for atmosphere. Really warm aesthetics that make for a calm vibe. Unfortunately it all goes down hill from there. 3 stars for food, coffee was cool but the blueberry scone at Starbucks is better (and that's merely for a point of reference, I hate Starbucks). Now the service, 1 star because 0 could come off as neutral but I need everyone to know how miserable these people are. It took everything in me to not ask the barista what his problem was but I chose to be an adult and leave it be. Just support your local bodega, at least they show gratitude for everyone that comes through their door.

probably the worst coffee to expectations ratio I’ve ever experienced. this means I thought it would be great coffee based on the aesthetics and menu, and the coffee was worse than what I’d get at a gas station (burnt and flat).
I’ve tried this place at least 3 times hoping for different results as it’s in the neighborhood but no dice, every few months I’ll try to check back in and see if it gets better

Oddly sloppy latte. Always had good experiences here but received a latte that looked like it had been through a blender. Super bubbly and miserable texture.
Had a to-go black coffee from here and it was pretty good. I would stop again

They should change their staff or something. I absolutely love their coffee but there is not one time I go without getting rudely treated or looked at by the employees. This should really change I’ve been coming here a long time almost three years and it’s always the case. I’m gonna stop coming because of this and I’m sure other customers would agree.

We’ve got a cold brew and have to admit that it wasn’t what we expected. It was very bitter and hard to drink… but I guess everyone has a different taste. Other that that the server was very unpleasant. She had an attitude and seemed annoyed that we came in to order a coffee… not great for the first impression. We were recommended to go there but I would highly recommend other places instead after our experience. It’s a shame.
