Menu options are very limited, only 4 entrees. The appetizers were pretty good. However, the entrees were not tasty.

I really wanted to have a better experience at Ten Hope but unfortunately that was not the case. A came for brunch to celebrate the birthdays of two friends. It was a group of about 11. The venue is small inside and has a few tables outside as well but overall not large. With that said, service was very slow. The waitress who was taking our orders was also making out drinks aka bartending, as well as servicing at least 2 other tables. Unsure if this is the norm or if they were short staffed, but having one person to support all inside tables and also bartend is not a great business model during brunch hours, especially when you have a group. Our server was also very short with us in her interactions and had a bit of an attitude, like we were inconveniencing her by being there. I should note, I witnessed her being much more pleasant with another table. With that said, it took quite a bit of time to have drinks refilled and we opted for the higher bottomless brunch option so it was disappointing constantly sitting around with an empty glass. When we asked the waitress/bartender about this and if we could have a pitcher to pour our own drinks, she at first said it wasn't possible and then said that after our next round she would have to "86" the frozen drinks. The birthday girl expressed her dismay at the pace of service and how things were going and at some point, I looked over and could see the woman literally bad mouthing the birthday girl to another staff member, in eye and ear shot. Super uncomfortable and unprofessional. And to add insult to injury, the food was not great. I had a BLT and asked for it without avocado. What came was something more basic than a BLT I could make at home, and it had remnants of avocado on the bread, as if it was scraped off. I've ordered BLT sandwiches for brunch before and this one didn't meet the mark. Menu said it came with hash browns, but it came out with the same potatoes as other dishes. What should've been a nice afternoon at a place that came highly recommended, became an unfortunate experience. I would not recommend or return.

I cannot express my gratitude for the Ten Hope manager and staff!! They made my birthday and engagement surprise party an amazing success!! They worked with me since day 1 to understand my needs and make sure we feel welcome when we get there! The foods and drinks are delicious. We were originally set up to be outside but there was a chance of rain so the manager set up some tents outside but also allowed us to use the bar inside with some high tops! Thanks for everything Bill!

I’ve don’t think I’ve had a more juicy, delicious burger prepared with so much love you could taste it. Excited to come back for brunch sometime!

The burgers were raw and cold! 100% inedible. Nowhere near medium rare burgers we ordered. On top of that, we waited about 2 hours for our meal to arrive. Not going back for sure ?

Service and food were terrible. I went to the restaurant for a certain dish and because they changed chefs they didn't have the dish on the menu anymore. Then the dishes came out. I got the hash and my boyfriend got eggs and bacon. The poached egg on my hash was over cooked and they forgot the toast and bacon on my boyfriends dish twice. And his over easy eggs were over cooked. My boyfriend also asked for water with lemon which he never got. The bus boy was actually very nice and helpful but after he took our plates it took the server a very long time to bring our check. You'd expect this if the place was particularly busy but there was only one other table when we got there and only 4 tables the whole time we were dining, including ours. I would not send someone here.

Ten Hope is apparently executing a relaunch, which the chef talked to us about for a bit when he dropped by our table. The outside seems nice and should be a big draw, but it was a bit cold out when we went so we sat indoors. The server was nice, a bit overly attentive but I'll take that over absence. Food and drinks came out pretty quickly. Their cocktails are unique and the ones we tried - Fly High and a spicy marg - were good, with a bit of kick in the margarita. We shared an octopus salad, burrata, baba ghanoush, and a burger. Everything seemed well cooked and was enjoyable. The menu itself could be improved, with manually crossed out items on printed paper. Also, there's only one vegan and one vegetarian option, but an entire legend dedicated to allergens - and the vegan item isn't keyed based on the legend; easy fix that'll seem more put together. Some additional vegetarian / vegan options, even a black bean burger, would be a big add too. Overall, the place has potential - looking forward to seeing how the relaunch plays out.

Overpriced airport food. Shishito peppers were oily, rubbery and had no flavor. They were inedible. The whipped feta “flatbread” was a handful of pitas with a thick, gluey dip. Did not taste Aleppo or pistachios. The service was wonderful so they get five stars for that but the food is terrible. Spicy margarita was super sweet with zero kick. Just not worth it.

The place was very charming. The staff was just amazing and patient. We had flowers with us and they brought out a bucket of water and ice to put our flowers in. So very accommodating. The food was delicious and beautifully done. ands the drinks were just right. will come back of course. Thank you everyone at the Ten hope. Carolin Puskul

Food was not as good as it used to be, portions are much smaller and now cost more, as do the drinks. This is true of most places in nyc now but the standards have dropped here. Used to be a brunch go to now I'm not so sure I'll be back.
