Delicious bagels! My daughter and her boyfriend took me to their original location in Brooklyn. Of course I got the bagel & lox with tomato. So good. Getting a table is a bit challenging due to the small size of the sitting area but we did manage to snag a table. Their coffee was rather delicious, too! Come in and get yourself a bagel with smear and a good cup of Joe.

Pretty efficient bar shop.
I got my everything bagel toasted and buttered under 5 min.
Lots of seating spaces inside the shop.
They prep salads and sandwiches.
Decent place.

The bagels are decent, not the best by a long shot. But $9 for a sausage, egg and cheese bagel is a bit egregious. There are plenty of bagel shops in the neighborhood where you could get a a decent sausage egg and cheese bagel for under $7

I used to really enjoy the food from Terrace Bagels, but lately the quality and attention to detail have noticeably declined. I ordered the lox omelet with home fries and asked for the cream cheese to be placed on the side, as they used to accommodate in the past. Not only did they ignore that request, but the home fries were also burnt today. On another occasion, I ordered home fries and received hash browns instead. I gave them another chance, thinking it might have just been an off day, but the inconsistency has continued. It’s disappointing to see a place that once delivered great food and service lose that standard.

Ran in two weeks ago to grab a cheap lunch bc I didn’t want to walk in the sun. Bialy with cream cheese and lox.
Cost me $20(!!) and when I unwrapped it I found it wasn’t even a real bialy- just a plain flagel with onion roll onions on top.
So disappointing on so many levels. Should be waaaay better than Tompkins Square bagels for that price, maybe even add a lil’ gold leaf on top😉
In future I will continue to walk the extra blocks to Baked in Brooklyn on 5th across from the cemetery- they have much more to choose from, they are livelier, have good jelly donuts, coffee, and realistic prices.
I suggest y’all do the same.

This has been my go-to bagel spot for like a decade. Its been better than all the others in the area. La Bagel Delight is about the same, but they put more stuff on the bagels, so they win for that. Though Terrace is closer so thats where I go.
Please put more stuff on the bagels!! Not just a little sprinkle on the top! Also wish egg everythings were available more often.
Noticed recently a lot of bagels are squished and oblong now, not as nicely round as they used to be. Doesn't change the taste, but makes it tougher to make an even sandwich.
Also the prices have definitely gone up. Used to be $1-1.10/bagel.
Their coffee cakes are the best ever, too! Love that chocolate one when its available.

I’ve been coming to Terrace Bagel since I was a kid. Used to hang out there late talking and eating with friends in junior high. I’d usually defend them to the death but today was the straw. So insanely priced now, it closes early, quality of the bagel went down, the cool decorations are gone, and then on top of paying my soul and then some for a bagel, they can’t even cut the thing down the middle😭I really don’t want this place to close. I remember when it was just a place you could walk into, no seats before they renovated. Used to have the best black and white cookies anywhere in town, now I don’t even see them on the menu often and then they also have the the option to tip 30% on their iPad? 30% tip on a $22 dollar bagel? Why. I really hope they can sort out whatevers going on because I’m sick of wishing I’d picked a different bagel joint. Please yuppies don’t take our beloved Terrace Bagels

Every time I order and try out new sandwiches it does not disappoint. Everything tastes so good and they do not cheap out on the portions. Great quality food.

Quality has long gone down - everything bagels taste soapy. Furthermore, I don’t think I’ve ever placed an order here and have had it correct. Chicken salad - nope, here’s egg salad. Untoasted? Nope they roasted it. Scallion cream cheese? Nope, here’s plain. As someone who has lived in the area for awhile I remember when this was excellent but that chapter has since long ended.

Decent bagels. Extremely overpriced. Always a long wait even when not busy. Bad coffee.
