Great service, the wait staff was super friendly and accommodating. The front end was communicating in Thai so it gave me faith that they used authentic Thai ingredients and recipes. They did deliver and the food was solid. I especially liked my red curry.
And while it admittedly isnβt my #1 pick for Thai food in the neighborhood itβs a solid choice esp for the value! I did pick up, the restaurant is on the smaller end but not too busy when I went

what seemed like an unsuspecting lump of noodles, was one of the most scrum-diddly-umptious plate of drunken noodles i have ever happened upon among the decades of years i have lived. by seen by the embarrassing scrape marks you see on my violated plate, her in all her sweet and savory glory, didn't stand a chance.
i do like my drunken flat noodles a little less soft/cooked, so they hold their flat noodle-like shape a little better, but the flavor and spice level were perfect ! i had chicken in it and usually when i go to thai places the chicken is slightly overcooked/tough but this one was super soft !! and the waitress(es) we had were super attentive and sweet :3 meow π»π₯°π₯°πΆπΆπΆπ π π¦π¦β€οΈπ§ββοΈπ¦©πͺ½πͺ½π¦©π πͺΌπ§

I stopped by Thaism around 3:15pm on a Wednesday since I had business in the area. Their lunch special runs until 4pm, and it's a great deal! I was the only person in the restaurant the entire time. The ceiling is decked out with hanging orchids, which gives the space a nice aesthetic. The restaurant seats around 25 people, so it is on the smaller side.
The in-person lunch special is $12.95, and it comes with soup or salad and one side. That is a rare steal these days! I ordered pad see ew with salad and the chive pancake. I enjoyed the peanut dressing that came with the salad, but I hate raw onions and had to pick those out. For the chive pancake, the inside of the pancake was a soggy texture. I prefer to have the crispy texture throughout. I also felt like the pancake needed more seasoning. I typically enjoy this without sauce but I needed the soy sauce because it was bland. The pad see ew sauce tasted like pad thai sauce instead of black bean sauce. My first bite was also heavy on the fish sauce! I like pad thai sauce, so I thought the dish was fine, but just a heads up for people who aren't a fan of fish sauce.
I had my water refilled and got checked in on, so service was nice. Overall, there were some flavor misses that won't make this my favorite Thai restaurant in Brooklyn. However, I think the deal is great, so if you are in the area for lunch, check out Thaism!

Best Thai takeout in the area. Mostly a takeout spot, but restaurant seems nice especially in the summer with their big windows swung open
