I love this place so much. They had biscoff vanilla, funfetti, and chocolate cupcakes that were so good and then black sesame fig and ube cupcakes I didn’t get to try. I will be getting every birthday cake here from now on.
The cupcakes had very little flavor and were too oily. Don’t let the ratings fool you. Worst cupcake I’ve had in a long time and were 5 dollars each.

Overpriced and unreliable. Posted hours say they're open but they're not- happens all the time. Don't bother going unless you call and confirm that they're actually open- but only if you want to pay way too much for something you could get anywhere else.

Recently, I visited Brooklyn,NY, to see the Jay-Z exhibit, and while in the city, I decided to visit businesses Keith Lee approved.Before heading to the airport I decided to visit the bakery to take some cookies back to Atlanta, GA. I was greeted by the store manager Louis who was very friendly while Akim was working with another customer. She smiled and said hello.Louis proceeded to show me the cookies they had available as he had to bake some more. I purchased three cookies (2) chocolate chip with sea salt and (1) Asian Sweet potato cookie. I was disappointed as they did not look like the cookies Keith Lee purchased and described. The cookies he purchased were crispy on the edges and chewy in the center. I purchased what I describe as cake cookies thick and dense.

I had a vegan funfetti birthday cake made here last weekend and it was AMAZING! Everyone commented on how good it was and were shocked when I said it was vegan. The owner was great to work with and even went out of her way to allow me to pick it up during usually closed hours. Really appreciate it and definitely recommend this bakery to everyone!

Vanilla biscotti cake...!!! They came through for me in a pinch. I needed a last minute birthday cake for my son's 30th birthday. After singing happy birthday then serving the cake, all I heard was mmmmm... and the smacking of lips.. I will continuously patronize this business and I will surely spread the word. THANK YOU ?

I waited in line as the owner took orders .Once I let her know that I was picking up a Too Good to Go order the owner immediately became annoyed and rude. I was appalled and taken aback since she was so warm and friendly to the customer in front of me. I felt very uncomfortable and the owner, Akim Vann gave off a vibe that I didn't belong in her establishment.I'm not sure if I caught her on a bad day or she was projecting her dissatisfaction with her Too Good to Go partnership on me but none the less her behavior was unwarranted.The owner really needs to work on her customer service skills. I also read some similar experiences customers had interacting with her on Yelp which I wish I read before I visited the establishment.I will never patronize Bakery on Bergen again. Too Good to Go app lovers BEWARE. Your discounted cookies comes with a side of attitude and aggression. Totally not worth it!

Sent over a dozen of the boozy cupcakes for a birthday gift. Half hennessy, half baileys. The whole process went well, delivery was on time, and the birthday boy loved the novelty of it (and said the cupcakes were good too!). A little pricey for cupcakes, maybe, but worth it to try out. Thank you for making a surprise gift fun and easy!

we visited today with my toddler niece who uses a stroller, as we entered the lady who greeted me from behind the door asked us to close the door as my sister was getting her out of the stroller. she then asked if my dog was a service dog after the other male employee gave permission. even though he isn't a service dog she still said it was "fine" besides a horrible greeting she didnt allow us to look at the menu or pastries but expected us to know exactly what we wanted even though it was our first time visiting. She completely rushed us gave us the vibe that we shouldnt be there and she seemed annoyed The entire time. Even if those cupcakes are amazing I'll never go back or recommend them to anyone. Horrible service- specifically the lady at the counter.

Bakery on Bergen is my go-to spot for all yummy treats in BK! My go-to's are strawberry, Funfetti, and vanilla cupcakes with Buttercream Frosting cupcakes. When I'm feeling cookie a vibe, the smore cookie is a whole vibe! Akim and her team are so welcoming that you might find yourself staying and hanging for a while.
