My friends and I have been hanging out at The Barlow for a few years, and we have always loved the vibe. When one of our friends became pregnant this year, we knew it would be the perfect venue to host her baby shower. Paul worked with us to curate the perfect food and beverage package. The staff was easy to work with and did a great job of refreshing food and drinks when people ran low. The food was delicious, especially the hot chicken sandwhich which was the crowd favorite. It was a fun day and an overall great experience. I would highly recommend hosting a private party at the Barlow.
The Barlow is GREAT! Needed to find a spot to celebrate my best friend's birthday and we picked correctly. Super friendly and accommodating, great drinks, yummy food. Will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed the tunes, pretty universal selections. It made for great vibes. The bartender was so nice, welcoming and personable. I would definitely recommend coming here and plan on returning to try the hot drinks. I feel like you don’t see hot drinks often but they’re delicious so I’d like to try their cider when it gets colder. The atmosphere felt cozy but not too pub like nor dive bar like. Their food was good! I wasn’t sure what to except but I thought the Barlow hot chicken sandwich and fries was yummy! I liked how relaxed the place and the people were.

I had my 30th birthday here with a 4 hour open bar/food and it was the BEST NIGHT EVER! The food was delicious and the bartenders were so nice and accommodating. I had control over all the music and we all had a blast dancing and singing all night. The Barlow is not only a great bar to hang out during the day but it is the perfect place to throw a party at night as well! MY FAVORITE BAR IN BROOKLYN!

We hosted our wedding after party at The Barlow and we highly recommend visiting this spot or booking an event here! Paul was so easy and accommodating to work with and the drinks were great. My husband is a self-proclaimed beer snob and was impressed by their beer selection. Aside from great beers, they even made us a custom cocktail which our guests loved. The Barlow is such a fun spot, the bartenders are great, and we highly recommend stopping in for a drink or more here. It's a new favorite spot of ours in Prospect Heights!

Came her for drinks post dinner and was pleasantly surprised.I got a hot toddy and was impressed. Staff were warm and welcoming upon entry. The space is much bigger inside than it appears outside.Would visit again.

The bartenders here are always super nice and the food is shockingly good. The honey Sriracha wings are great, and my wife loves the caprese sandwich. Really hard to go wrong with anything here though. Even my kid likes coming here for food. They always have a good selection of craft beers too, from some of my favorite breweries, which is much appreciated.

During the winter, they also have really good hot cider.I’ve mostly sat at the bar and have only had bar food. But I really come just for the vibe. I usually take a date here when I’m not sure about the guy bc I know I’ll still have a great experience.The staff is really friendly & overall I just love how chill it is! If you’re coming from Manhattan and looking for a rager, this is not it. We’re good. What a great gem & highly recommend for the chill vibes.
