This neighborhood was primarily Polish in its heyday now there is a hipster takeover. Brew Inn is the perfect respectful transition watering hole. Rustic, rad and retro. Extensive craft beer selection without pretentiousness. Greenpoint strong.
This place is the neighborhood bar every neighborhood should have. The staff is super friendly, the food is incredible and very reasonably priced (debatably best burger in nyc), and the vibes are comfortable and fun. They go crazy with sports on the weekends and even crazier for karaoke on Wednesdays. I love the people there and the bartenders really go above and beyond. Shout out to Josh, Mary, and Ty. Y’all are awesome.
We stopped in to The Brew Inn on a Monday night on our way back to the hotel after seeing a concert. We chose a table in the back and watched the last of the Monday night football game, the bartender offered table service and though the kitchen was closed, he wrangled up a couple plates of pierogies for our after concert appetite (On Monday nights pierogies are 75¢ each). The food came out fast, was hot and super delicious.
