This place has great food and prices. I think the owners are here daily. I felt very welcomed here. My first time stopping by for breakfast to go. A very kind man brought me breakfast. This place is worth the trip from Manhattan. I work out here on Friday's. I'm a surgical nurse .I will be coming frequently when the weather gets warm. The is something so beautiful about this place. It's the owners.

The food was great and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was amazing—it felt like going back in time to when I was younger. The lady who took our order was very kind and funny too. I have called this restaurant 3 times! I called today 10/16/24 at 4:15pm. I called and gave the company’s name where I work for since we do business together. A woman answered 3 times and yelled at me saying the boss is not here!! I was calling to make a big order for the company I work for. However, I guess you dont want my business. Customer service is horrible! How can you have someone with that attitude answering your phone. I really wanted to put an order since your place was recommended but I guess I/we will find a different restaurant and I will definitely tell my friends to stay away! Not sure how this business is running. What a shame.

This is a neighborhood place. No fancy frills. You go here if you want conversation w/neighbors or strangers. You are immediately greeted with a friendly hello. This is a place to go for a neighborhood hug!

Good food. But I cannot believe this place has such high overall reviews. The lady waiter is VERY rude. And I cant figure why cooking of simple meals can take up to one hour there. If you visit in the morning you can get normal service. But if you visit afternoon you will have this lady that everyone complains on in other reviews. On top of it, add how the prices on menu and prices in reality are totally different.

My partner and I loved this place, we were tourists and we came in every morning for breakfast. Good food, amazing kindness and atmosphere. The place looks like a real diner, the one you see in American movies. Highly recommended to visit the place!

This used to be my go-to diner in the area until my experience following their menu price raises on DoorDash, where I would frequently order for pick up. For my birthday last year, we decided to do a breakfast pickup order. We waited 20 mins for DoorDash to confirm the order before we got a phone call from customer service saying the prices have actually changed & that I'd be charged the difference if I wanted to proceed, which I understood and accepted. When my partner & I arrive for pick up, an older, grey-haired woman is behind the counter who I'm assuming is the owner as she decides to tell me that the prices aren't what they are on DoorDash because of inflation (understandable), and along the lines of "app customers are entitled" & that its frustrating for them to have to call DoorDash about the outdated prices on the app ("why aren't you calling them to fix your prices?" should have been my next question, but she was already irritated).Bad taste in my mouth aside, I kept trying them through the app & they still won't update their prices. It's a local joint, so I'm used to the regular attitude the staff has but to cause a problem like this on an app & throw it on me, the customer, as the cause of the problem? Yeah, not returning until they fix the prices AND the attitude.
