If they had endless mimosas /any adult beverages for brunch this place would be lit.
Delicious food with substitution options available
Friendly/helpful staff
This place shows that atmosphere matters in restaurants. The vibe is distinctive, the staff is personable, and it seems like a secret world within familiar surroundings. The team demonstrates remarkable customer assistance and clearly appreciates their merchandise. Both what I ate and how I was treated exceeded expectations. I'm excited about my next visit to taste different options.
One of the best places in Brooklyn for breakfast! Ive came here several times. Its a smaller space so expect a wait depending on the time, but its well worth it
I love this place. Potato tart is my favourite.
5 stars all around. Ambiance, service, menu, flavors. 5 out of 5.
The Common totally deserves all of their positive reviews. Personal favorite dishes are Crispy Potato Tart and Croast. The friendly staff really add to the positivity of the experience. For sure among the best Bay Ridge restaurants, if not the best.
Wonderful breakfast and place! Easy going atmosphere, with great food.
What a delight it was coming in for breakfast the other day. From the selection to the atmosphere to the flavor and taste. We each started with the homemade mango iced tea, and pickle cup...
Then I had the homemade poached egg skillet that tasted and very similar to shashuka with perfectly poached eggs and fresh mozzarella and side of pita. And my girlfriend had the avocado naan with eggs, side of breakfast sausage that was similar to a kielbasa flavor profile wise. We like it so much we might go back tomorrow for a second time in 3 days.
But highly recommend anyone in the area looking for somewhere to eat breakfast or lunch. Was a pleasant surprise.
Delicious breakfast food!!! Stopped in around 10am and we got seated quickly. It's a small place but it didn't feel too crowded. We got started with water and two mango iced teas. It wasn't sweet at all which we enjoyed.
We ordered the Breakfast Naan with a side of grilled sausage and one of the skillets with sweet chili sauce. Both phenomenal! We dogged everything down in like 5 minutes. Left no crumbs. Everything on menu looked so good too. We are definitely coming back!!
I was amazed by the lemon tartar! It was light and airy, with a perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors. The hint of freshness made it even more delicious. A truly delightful treat!

I came to Bay Ridge in Brooklyn to see my boyfriend for Lunar New Year, and I heard that it had a Google rating of 4.8 and that it was a good local restaurant, so as soon as I came to the US, I came for brunch the next morning!
The atmosphere inside the store was really nice and the server was really friendly haha. Not the stew in the picture, but the sausage jam egg next to it? The menu looked delicious on Instagram, so I looked it up and showed it to them. They said it wasn't on the menu, but they could make it, so I tried it with anticipation.
But why is it so delicious🫢🥹 It's like risotto, but the sausage is slightly sweet and pickled, and at the same time, it's scooped up and eaten with the scent of spinach. It's really delicious. It's a bit like porridge if you think of it as a Korean food, but it's a really delicious porridge. The stew on the side is also good. Of course it was really delicious..!
And since there is no pistachio latte in Korea, I was so curious that I ordered it, and I knew for sure that this is what real pistachio tastes like. The combination with espresso is amazing and the latte art is the best👍
I will go again if I can during my stay!
(For your information, while the menu was appearing, BTS's Dynamite acoustic version song came on, so I was a little excited..☺️)

This used to be my favorite place, but on Saturday, Jan 18, I went there with my sister and waited 45 minutes for a table. We both ordered the meatball skillet. I’m telling you, I felt horrible all day—my stomach was heavy, and later on we were both throwing up. I vomited three times, had trouble sleeping, and continued vomiting the next morning 6am. I only had water and their food that day. I felt awful all Sunday, too. They ruined my Saturday and Sunday. Please, everyone, protect yourselves and stay away from this place.
