I used to live in the neighborhood and would come here often for the curds and beer. I was meeting a friend tonight and was sitting with him when the bar tender took his order and then went on to serve other customers. The bar was busy but after a few minutes of her serving new customers I waived - I had my jacket on and guessed she thought I was on my way out. She came over and said âI see youâ in a quite unpleasant manner. I asked for a beer and she dropped it down said $9. Did not ask if I wanted a tab opened, tapped my card without a word and threw the card on the bar forcefully.
I must say I was shocked by this behavior as was my friend, who is a regular at the bar. My friend got a second drink but I really I was nervous about even being there at that point.
I understand that itâs difficult for people to work in these busy environments but the bar tender was pleasant to everyone. I donât really know the point of writing this. I come over Brooklyn often enough but I donât think Iâd go back just to turn around at the door if this bartender is working. This sucks.

The place has a good vibe with great food and drinks . The only minor inconvenience is that the manager was disrespectful to us so wont be coming back

The only reason I gave the food a 4 is they sell what is supposed to be macaroni and cheese it was shell and a white sauce I kept tasting it in hopes I would taste a hint of cheese no such luck Everything else there is quality and as expected. I live their wings they are fresh and not pumped with steroids.
The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is friendly.
Nice beer on tap. Will update review on next visit when we try some food items.
