Ok, I never write reviews, but I've had two phenomenal experiences at The Fly and needed to share!! Not only is the atmosphere perfect (lighting, candles, sexy, ENERGY, music!!) and food perfectly executed (cesar with the crispiest romaine! The green beans! The green sauce! The potatoes! The chicken!!!) but what stands out to me most is the hospitality. It's exceptional. Warm, inviting, attentive, playful. You feel taken cared of, special, safe, and like you belong – I truly cannot say that about many places in NYC where folks are jaded and, in my opinion, have lost the art of true hospitality.
This is a neighborhood spot I will return to again and again and again. HUGE shoutout to Hector and Peter for giving us two amazing experiences both times. We had a blast and that's really what it's all about. We love you guys!! Thank you for all that you do – it's really important work. xx

Regulars at the Fly for a reason. Can’t really go wrong with the food or drinks there and actually really like they only do walk ins.
It is very loud at the back - so be warned if you’re with a big group and the service can be a little slow at peak times.

What I didn't realize is that it's primarily a cocktail bar, a busy and cool one, with a side of food. However the food, specifically rotisserie chicken just so happens to be fantastic. Potatoes were brilliant. Sauces were delicious (white especially)

The chicken was delicious, both the white and the green sauces are excellent. The Cesar salad is big and perfect. The dessert was delicious. The place is gorgeous.

Had a great night out at the fly. We sat at the bar and the bartender shivs did a thorough job helping us pick from the extensive wine list. Will definitely be back!

quick seating & service, very nice atmosphere. our table of three shared a half chicken, caesar salad, and fries and it was the right amount of food. even after tip it came out to less than $20 a person - very affordable for an excellent and straightforward meal.

Went here for a casual weekday date night and it was great. Our server was the perfect amount of attentive and really friendly. Overall vibe was nice. We split the whole chicken, Caesar salad, and corn special with a few drinks. The chicken is bomb - super crispy skin, perfectly juicy. The white sauce was great with it. The Caesar salad was huge and one of the best I’ve had in BK. Dirty martini was also up to par. I’d definitely come back here.
