Long wait time especially after church on Sunday. Pholourie Fan. I recommend it. No parking outside. Its along a busy ave. Double park if you can, and dash in then back out fast.

Firstly, the staff was very friendly and explained each and every dish that was available. They even gave my friend a little tour as she waited for me to arrive. Personally, the food was delicious. My friend thought the salted herring was a bit too salty, but I loved it. Salt and all. The portion was enough for 2-3 servings and economically priced. The flavors of the rice and spinach blended together but netherless, still yummy!I've been craving it since I tried it, so I'll certainly be back for more.

Please try and keep the meal's simple and ease up on the salt and oil's in most of your dishes.I understand you want to keep the food authentic but try to set aside a profitable business as opposed to pro health and take into consideration that most of your patrons are afflicted with diabetes or hypertension

Well I'm Guyanese and like to support my peoples and enjoy my culture's food I been eatin there for yearssssss but is always good I recommend them if you want some good Guyanese food they recently upgraded the look of the place and it's much better than it was before only downfall the price went way up also I'm not used to paying over 20$ for a lil piece of fish but ima try everything under 20

For years, I have gone to the Hills Restaurant in search of their delicious and memory jarring fried bake / roast bake with the smoke herring. Recently, something has definitely changed with the smoke herring I once drove early in the morning to purchase without ensuring if it was actually available. Their smoke herring is often not prepared on the mornings I unexpectedly show up at 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM without calling ahead. I am unsure if the cooking staff may have changed because their smoke herring no longer looks or tastes the same to my taste buds. In addition to the abundance of scallion, red pepper, and onion, something is different with the smoke herring, which harkened to my childhood breakfast / lunch memories. There is something different...
