Fabulous place for wedding reception.

It's impossible to sum up into a concise review how spectacular The Liberty Warehouse is. From the breathtaking views, the absolutely top tier staff, and incredible food selection - the LW was by far our favorite wedding vendor (& that says a lot because our day was perfect!)Jeff, we are forever grateful for your guidance and vision aiding us in perfecting our wedding day. Your vendor recommendations, food suggestions, timeline, etc. - I'd trust you with any choice! Hugging you right before walking down the aisle with my father was the cherry on top of being a Liberty Warehouse bride. Andrea - thank you for also always being so comforting, welcome and kind. You answered EVERY silly little email or question we had - big or small. Your energy is contagious and seeing your smiling face the morning of my wedding was all I needed to know our day was going to be perfect. My bridal attendant Alexandra ... where do I begin?! She was absolutely phenomenal. She anticipated my needs, made sure I ate and drank (both water and champagne), removed random stains that appeared throughout the day, bustled my dress in what felt like 30 seconds, and made sure everything was perfect. We knew the food and drinks were going to be fantastic from the raving reviews we heard through family and friends - but the LW blew us away. People STILL talk about how good the food was and I'm sure they will for years to come. From the tasting 2-3 months before, you are hidden on-site and try everything that couple is having that wedding night. Most of the options we ended up choosing for our own wedding, too! (pro tip- get the beef lo mein station!!!) Having our cocktail hour food set up for us with our signature drinks the moment our ceremony ended was such a blessing. We ate and giggled and we were simply in awe at how perfect it all was just before freshening up and entering our reception. The staff at the LW executed an absolutely perfect evening and timeline. They coordinated dances and dinner with our band, ensured the bridal party was where they needed to be and when, and took care of our parents, grandparents, etc. all day long. From the valet and bathroom attendants, to the coordinators and management, and whoever helped gather my belongings at the end of the night - thank you, THANK YOU, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, our wedding day was absolutely, undeniably perfect. I'd recommend the Liberty Warehouse for any upscale event and can chat about it for hours on end.

The venue? Gorgeous... The location? Not the most convenient to get to, but the views are spectacular... The food? Delicious... So why only 3 stars? Well despite attending a beautiful wedding here, our group had SEVERAL issues with the staff. First of all, it's called cocktail hour. Not cocktail 45 minutes. Not to mention they raced to put away the food before guests had a chance to get their final plates. Also, I don't think I've ever attended a cocktail hour where I was told "no" by one of the servers when asking for more than one item (seriously, they had chicken and lamb skewers, I asked for one of each and was told no). The bartenders were messing up drinks left and right, and the waiters (while friendly) made some errors as well. Our whole table was never served cake, and I think this is the first wedding I've ever attended where I actively needed to flag someone down to get a cup of coffee. In all honesty the food was very good, we just wish the staff serving it was up to the same level.

We photographed a May wedding here this year and fell in love with the Liberty Warehouse. Everything was perfect, from the endless skyline views to the trendy industrial feel. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, too! Plus, Red Hook is such a fun neighborhood with plenty of quintessential Brooklyn nooks and crannies, you just can't go wrong. Thanks for having us! We can wait to come back next year.

The venue is stunning, but the sales manager was incredibly disrespectful. I ruled out this venue because Jeff was dismissive and rude. The location is also inconvenient and the neighborhood surrounding the venue is not inviting but interesting. They do only in-house catering and the menus are very traditional and dull. Any wedding looking to have a customized experience should look elsewhere.

The venue is beautiful, sure, but the man who manages the weddings there (I think his name is Jeff, not positive. He's a short, controlling guy) is super sexist and unhelpful. He treats women (brides, etc) like children, doesn't listen to them and is just generally really unhelpful. He takes control in a chauvinist way. Also, with his management of the wedding ceremony, he's just way over the top in a way that's not only stifling but sometimes laughable. He makes everyone line up for the ceremony like 10 minutes in advance and then everyone has to stand there, even though people have to go to the bathroom or do something else in preparation for the ceremony. I've been to 3 weddings where Jeffrey announces "please stand for the bride," even though the officiant has already said it into the microphone (and that's the officiant's job anyway, right?) and then he asks everyone to rise and then makes them stand in this weird anticipation for like a good 90 seconds until the doors open. During that time, everyone is looking around saying "is the bride coming or not?" it's super weird. I've seen this happen with multiple weddings I've attended at LW. His whole control thing, with his sense of timing being super off, and the things I've heard from brides and mothers of the bride who get treated poorly by him, I would say DO NOT book here. I actively dissuade people I know from using this venue. If LW hired someone new, maybe it would be different. If anyone from management (NOT JEFF) wants to be in touch for concrete examples of Jeff being creepy, controlling and sexist, I'd be happy to discuss. DO NOT BOOK HERE or at least make sure your wedding is on Jeff's day off!!

The Liberty Warehouse is not only breathtaking with it's views and ability to make the space unique with every event there, but the team there is second to none. Jeff was absolutely amazing from day one. When we went on our initial visit and met with him, we knew right then and there we didn't have to look any further - and we didn't! We were sold on the stunning venue and were immediately envisioning how we would make the space our own on our special day. We could also tell we could put our full trust in someone like Jeff. He was extremely kind, responsive, knowledgable and honest throughout the entire process and it really felt like he was looking out for our best interest. We loved working with him and it was no surprise that his staff is just as incredible! Everyone involved in our wedding day and the visits leading up was an absolute joy to work with. We could not have been in better hands and truly felt like we were part of the family by the end!As for the day of - there are almost no words to describe how perfect it was. Unfortunately, the weather did not hold out for us to have the ceremony outdoors, but the venue has two floors and the staff was able to audible the morning of to bring the ceremony indoors on the lower level. It was still so beautifully done, you would have thought that was the plan for the ceremony from the get go. We were able to have cocktail hour both indoors and outdoors on the promenade, which allowed our guests to enjoy the stunning views of the Statue of Liberty and lower Manhattan. The cocktail hour - food, drinks, everything - was unreal! Our guests raved about it. The reception was upstairs and it was absolutely breathtaking and everything ran so smoothly. We truly had no stress. The staff was incredibly attentive to our guests, the food was such high quality, and everyone had an absolutely phenomenal time. The dance floor was packed the entire night! We received compliments from so many guests that it was the best wedding they had ever been to (and we had some seasoned wedding guests in attendance!). I don't think there is a better feeling than hearing that after putting so much time and effort into such a huge life event. We have the Liberty Warehouse and it's top notch staff to thank for that. We are so grateful to them from the bottom of our hearts!! We could not recommend this venue more. 10/10 would recommend to everyone and anyone! Hands down the best venue in NYC!!

This is absolutely one of the most incredible venues for a wedding. I've been to 2 different weddings here. Top of the line! I'm sure it is very pricey but you certainly get what you pay for....just magnificent!

I cannot thank Jeff and the team at liberty warehouse enough, I am so grateful I had my wedding there! The guests were raving about how amazing the food was, how beautiful the venue is and how it was the best wedding they have ever been to! Jeff was so great to work with, he made our experience leading up to the wedding stress free and he was so accommodating. His team was also amazing day of, they were there within seconds for any of my needs. When a torrential downpour started minutes into our outdoor ceremony, the team was so quick to respond. Without hesitation, they immediately went into cocktail hour indoors and everyone was ready to go. When the rain cleared, all seats were dried and we were able to have the amazing outdoor ceremony I always dreamed of, and even better the second time around with an amazing backdrop that liberty warehouse has and the most beautiful sunset. The space itself is so amazing, outside from the beautiful view, the inside gives you the opportunity to create any vision you want. Every wedding they do looks so different and I was able to make my dreams a reality with this space. We even utilized both the upstairs and downstairs to do a dinner in one room and a party in another, both spaces were so unique and beautiful! The bridal suite was also an amazing place to get ready day of, there was so much room and Jeff had coffee, champagne, water refilled all day for us, it was so much fun getting ready there! I will never be over this day and I highly recommend Liberty Warehouse to anyone who is looking for a wedding venue.

This is one of the most incredible venues in all of NYC. We can’t say enough about Jeff, Alexandra, Juan Diego & the rest of the Liberty Warehouse team. Everyone went above and beyond to make our wedding day more special than we could have ever imagined. From the moment we first arrived at the LW and met Jeff, we were taken care of, which is all you could hope for during the planning process. Our guests felt the same. Some friends even asked how they could try the food again, and if LW in house catering had a restaurant LOL.Waterfront views of downtown Manhattan, valet parking, excellent service & a space big enough to have the best dance sets ever…. The Liberty Warehouse has it all. Now we can only hope we get invited back for a future wedding or party :)

Great venue for my 2023 senior prom. It used to be a warehouse so the look and vibe is interesting. It's right along the water so there's a good view. You can see the Statue of Liberty as well as Manhattan, especially at night. There's a great dining area that is decorated nicely and has a central area for DJ and dancing.
