The Lobby at Ace Hotel Brooklyn

I live a few blocks away and had friends staying at the ace hotel. The lobby was so cute and cozy that I decided to check it out on my own. The food was fantastic and the service was nice. The atmosphere was the best part. It’s a good vibe!!

Fun lounge, my crew and I hung out to late morning and the lounge accommodated us. We also crashed someone's birthday party and everyone were welcoming... loved it!!!

Edited Dec 2024: updated to 5 stars, I've had several visit since September, and service was definitely much better. Struck up a conversation with the bartender and they even told me how to make their Japanese Old Fashion; would definitely come back again.

Edited 9/24: I live nearby and I've been to The Lobby at the Ace hotel a couple times and I always get the Japanese Old Fashioned. I came on a Saturday night and they said they were out of the Japanese Old Fashioned, but would definitely have it the next day Sunday. I came back the next day (through the rain) and when I asked for the Japanese Old Fashioned, they said they were still out.

I would have been fine if they told me on Saturday they didn't know when they'd have the Japanese Old Fashioned in stock again, but telling me something that wasn't true and making me go through the rain and then not apologizing for still not having the drink available was pretty frustrating and annoying. Don't get me wrong, still a great place, ambiance is nice, but man, the service was not good this time around for me.

The Lobby is a perfect spot to stop by for drinks! The atmosphere is great, good music and lighting and the service makes you remember your experience. Michael really stood out as he was so attentive and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be going back!

Love the ace! Amazing cocktails especially the Japanese old fashion. The bar tenders are great, especially mike for recommending me an espresso martini when tequila !!
