4 stars because the prices are insane for a Brooklyn steakhouse. Everyone needs a reality check, the meat cannot possibly cost that much. However, portions are VERY generous so make sure you with a big group. Anyways, food is on point (if you take out a second mortgage LOL):
Fried cauliflower - very good and hits the spot for a fried vegetable.
Fried Chicken drumsticks - very good, if you like dark meat.
Veal Gnocchi - must get this, well executed. Not as gamy as Mike’s Bistro duck gnocchi.
Lamb riblets - wea lol enjoyed it. Very fatty. The green sauce wasn’t so good. It was expensive for an appetizer but worth it for a big group.
Steaks -
Delmonico was amazing.
The burger is insane and its huge.
The hanger steak - was not good, get something else.
The Surprise is $120 and amazing cut of meat.

The food is fantastic. The “hot stone” appetizer is fun, well marinated and delicious. The short ribs on the sesame rice is soft and very flavorful.
The other dishes were great as well.
The pecan cinnamon twist tastes as good as it looks and smells.
Gigi is a great hostess, Devin was knowledgeable about each and every dish, and is super attentive which added to the joyous experience.

We went there fully NOT understanding it was gonna be an all Orthodox Jews kinda place and it was really great great service really nice people and the food was good! The prices were outrageous but that’s how it is when all of it is kosher so captive audience and captive search for suppliers…I would recommend to anyone who wants a once in a lifetime experience for sure plus shout out to Devon she was ultra professional and very nice

I had an absolutely incredible experience at The Loft Steakhouse! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The restaurant was packed — every table was full — yet the service was still outstanding. The staff handled the crowd effortlessly, always attentive without ever making us feel rushed or overlooked.
The food was phenomenal. Every dish was prepared perfectly, from the appetizers to the main courses. The steaks were tender, juicy, and full of rich flavor — easily some of the best I’ve ever had. You can tell they use top-quality ingredients and take real pride in their craft. The sides and starters were just as impressive, each one bursting with taste and beautifully presented.
Even with how busy it was, everything came out on time, hot, and fresh. The servers were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. The atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, with just the right lighting and ambiance to make the night feel special.
It’s rare to find a restaurant that can deliver such amazing food and flawless service even when at full capacity, but The Loft Steakhouse does exactly that. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a first-class dining experience — I can’t wait to come back!

Tonight was the second time we ate here, last March was the first and it was excellent then 10/10. Tonight was not as good of an experience as last time. The wine, Herzog Pinot Noir was excellent, the waiter was excellent, he knew his craft v. well. We ordered the mixed green salad to start, it was limp and the greens were soggy, just not appetizing. Last time the salad was crisp and fresh. We then ordered the cowboy ribeye, green beans, fries.......we asked for medium well, however the steak was too bloody and undercooked, (I also heard the table behind me complain of the same issue), it was really fatty and not really pleasant to eat. The french fries were all stuck together and swimming in grease, not at all like last time. The green beans however were excellent. We had the molten chocolate cake for dessert, which was very good. However, I felt that this establishment may have become complacent in their approach to the food they serve. Our $320 dinner was definitely not as good as when we ate here last year and I urge the owners not to let standards slip. As right now I am not sure I would come back. I was highly disappointed tonight, it was a special occasion for us as a couple, and I was sooooo looking fwd to eating here but this time we were not as impressed as before. Owners, please take heed of my review as this was a wonderful restaurant don't let it become sub par. Brush up your standards a little and make it worth the $320 we paid plus a $70 tip!!!!

The Loft Steakhouse delivers an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The steaks are outstanding—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of rich flavor, showing real care in preparation. The appetizers and sides, like the short rib tacos, truffle fries, and roasted vegetables, are equally impressive and thoughtfully presented. The atmosphere is sleek and modern but still feels warm and inviting, and the service is professional, friendly, and attentive. Every detail—from the plating to the cocktails—feels refined and well-executed.

The flavors here have me losing my cool completely. Employees deliver nice service in a family-friendly setting. The kitchen nails three things: freshness, seasoning, and cooking temperature. Delicious food served with friendly attitudes. Full stars for the exceptional meal and attentive staff.
