Fantastic grocery with a wide fresh selection of food in the back. Great place for breakfast and lunch.

I love shopping here! I can understand that, for many people who live here, it’s a budget buster, but the store carries nearly everything a kosher consumer might want. The produce is top notch and often they carry a type of fruit or vegetable that are hard to find even in gourmet shops in the city. One example of this is MacCoun apples. There is a full bakery which includes cholov yisroel dairy baked goods. There’s a small sushi bar and a deli. The meat section has a good variety of meats and cuts in the cooler, and if you can’t find what you want you can usually request a special cut. There are also packaged cold cuts, along with prepared foods to go.The takeout and dry food items are also well stocked. Of course there is a large amount of nosh and candy. The dairy cooler is filled with many different cholov yisroel products that should satisfy nearly everyone.

This is is a BYOB establishment. We brought a bottle of red and a bottle of white wine with us. After greeting us, the waiter opened and poured our red. We reserved our white for our entrees. He did not chill our white nor did he ask if we wanted it chilled. I had to ask twice for a bucket of ice and, when it came it had about 4 inches of water and little ice in it. Our avocado and shrimp toast app was very tasty and filling. Two can share. Our other guest had some raw oysters and he said they were very good. I ordered the crab cakes as an entree. It, too, was very good. I had a special request for 4 ozs of their Sriracha aioli. When my dinner was served, it came with a very small cup ( less than an ounce). I asked for 2 more. By the time I received it, I was halfway through my now cold meal. The entrees were plated on cold plates and were only warm when they were served. You would think that at their price point, they would at least have warmed their plates. That was disappointing. The open kitchen was spotless and interesting to watch. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. I would have given it a five star rating were it not for my aforementioned problems.

I used to shop here multiple times a week until the store manager accused my wife and I of lying when I returned a completely rotten package of alfalfa sprouts that their shopper had delivered to my home!Instead of giving me the three or four dollar return to my credit card, I had to explain to three different people in the store over the course of 15 minutes that I was telling the truth. Deeply disappointed in a store that I used to love: (

This store is a gourmet's delight! Great selection of produce, including off-season fruit. Meat dept with excellent choices and butchers to help with custom requests.Had to photograph this funny retro-looking cake mix box! (Not at all indicative of this store BTW...)

Too Expensive. Farm raised fish and over priced fruits and vegetables

Jewish/Kosher SupermarketDate and time of incident: 09/19/20233:45 pm -400 pm.Department: Bakery.Bakery staff present 3 Hispanics, 1 Hasidic JewCustomer: Black (dark skinned)I walked up to the bakery counter, with 4 employees present at the time. I was the only customer there. I wasn't doing anything other than standing in front of the counter to receive assistance. I just stood there with my with all my attention focused on them for 3 to 5 minutes. They looked at me, looked away, talked to each other, laughed... I was COMPLETELY ignored. When the one (hispanic) who was supposed ask to help decided to say something, he stayed at a distance (8 feet away in front of a computer) and murmured, "do you need something?"I replied, "You think I'm just standing here..." He quickly looked away. So I followed up and asked, "So you're not gonna help me?" He never approached me. A few seconds later, I told an employee who was on the floor what had happened. He told me I was right, and he understood me, and then directed me to talk to the manager (Shlomer) at customer service. So I made my way there. Shlomer was more interested in downplaying the encounter... Uttering things like, "they don't don't speak English. "That's how they are with everybody...." Eventually, he said he was gonna address the situation with a manager... After that, I just walked out.

Good service. Wide aisles. Large selection of both packaged and fresh food, as well as paper goods and other essential groceries.
