This place was amazing. It was a very cold day and we popped in for some delicious pasta. The music was great and the food was even better.

Great food for a decent price, I came here on my birthday last year and me and my best friend had three appetizers, two entrees, a pitcher of beer, and it came out to either 100$ or just shy of 100$. The spicy rigatoni with pork meatballs was so flavorful, just the right amount of kick. I also tried a bite of my friends chicken parm and it was excellent.

"That's a spicy meat-a-ball!" No kidding. I had six of these, so yes, bring on the Alka-Seltzer. Seriously, I liked these spicy golf balls so much that if it were not for gastric restrictions and unelastable waistlines, in addition to hefty New York price tags, I would still be eating these right now. When I lived in New Jersey, there was a restaurant to this that was similar to this concept called Lotsa Balls. They specialized in specialty meatballs and along with some great pasta, they had something special, except I only learned they recently closed. Would there be a restaurant to pick up the torch that Lotsa Balls once held so highly? The short answer? Yes! This restaurant in Williamsburg. The meatballs are flavorful, have an amazing kick and punch (not too overwhelming but enough to knock your tastebuds back a few notches). However, I really wanted to try them all. They are cooked beautifully, plated nicely, and served by Williamsburg's finest residents that only a Williamsburg resident can drum up. That is okay with me. Want a little extra? Go for it. Want some pasta? Do it. Want dessert afterwards? Who is stopping you? Yep, you saw the last part right, dessert. I had to do it, and I do not regret it. It is an ice cream sandwich created how you want it. The ice cream is delicious, and it will quell the rebellion in your small intestine, like a George Washington to a Daniel Shays. It will do you better than any beer might, which might not be saying much. Pretty please. Get the beer. Then pay your bill and start dreaming up what meatballs you plan to get for your next visit. I know I am.

Went here for the first time today, and was so pleased with my experience. There were plenty of available tables (although I’m sure lunch on a weekday isn’t representative of their usual crowds), and the staff was super efficient and noticeably friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were a reasonable size. Cozy atmosphere, fresh food, and nice people - would absolutely recommend.

I've been meaning to check this place out due to recommendations. However, their service was really lacking. I didn't even know who our server was as they were all confused. If their service was better, I would give them a higher rating. One of the servers came by to ask if we were being helped. I'm thinking to myself, how come they don't have a system or talk to eat other? Another server came around asking if we wanted drinks, and I got the fool aid glass. It tasted a bit like spiked grape juice with some medicine mixed inside of it. (It sorta reminded me of robitussin.) Ordered the mini Buffalo balls as an appetizer, which was pretty good. Ordered the rigatoni spicy pork - it comes with three meatballs, it was a bit spicy, however, nothing I couldn't handle. Got the Mac and cheese on the side, too, which could've been better. All in all, I won't be returning to this location. Perhaps I'll try another one out.

We've been going here since before they opened the Bedford Ave location but we won't be coming back unless this situation is corrected. My wife, daughter and I came by early Friday evening for their "happy hour" dinner deals but the host told us it was only for bar seating. So we asked to sit at the bar but they said kids were not allowed at the bar. We asked to sit at the high top tables next to the bar and they said that was considered table seating so no happy hour. So, essentially, the advertised "happy hour" should also say "children excluded". The meatball shop should be a great family restaurant but with this discriminatory policy they have lost our business. I'll be sure to help spread the word and tell other families to take their business elsewhere.

Lovely meal. Good quality food, sensible sized portions, good service. Would recommend for a tasty, relaxed meal without breaking the bank. Complements the eclectic mix in Williamsburg!

The staff was very friendly. Everyone greeted me and had a kind attitude. I stopped in after having dinner elsewhere and I just like meatballs and italian so I went in. I got the trio sample to go (spicy pork, original, and chicken in cream sauce). They weren't bad but I have had better. 3 meatballs for $14....I wouldn't buy again. The spicy pork was the best, followed by the chicken and original in my opinion.

We got the mac and cheese, calamari, chicken meatballs, and fried cauliflower. The meatballs were not good, so much that out of 3, only 2 were eaten, we each ate one and were trying to bribe the other to eat the last ? which we ended up not eating... The cauliflower was the highlight for me, it was different, not breaded and had like a creamy texture. Hard to explain but it was okay. Otherwise we were having a hard time with the fruit flies. We rushed through the food just so we didn't have to deal with it for too much longer. When we brought it up, the waitress said that there was nothing she could do. Although i understsnd, it was just an interesting experience. I do like that you can pay via the receipt and keep it pushing. Nothing to wait for unless your paying cash.

Had a great meal here last week on our trip to New York. We were served by Olivia she was super friendly and welcoming! The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was great as well.

The legendary Williamsburg Meatball Shop! Food definitely lived up to the hype. The meatballs were outrageously delicious. Pasta was on point. The staff was definitely hustling to serve those of us in the restaurant, while knocking out delivery orders. Gotta respect their efforts.Best place for meatballs and pasta around, hands down. Enjoy

Just went for the meatballs. The service was friendly and the pork meatballs were delicious. Surprisingly, we enjoyed those even more than the classic. Will go back to try the chorizo meatballs (special) next time, and some more deliciousness off the menu. Yum!

**for delivery** I was a fan of TMS when they first opened and had a menu that consisted of just meatballs and a side. The menu has since expanded to include entrees like roasted chicken, salmon, or branzino. We ordered dinner on Sunday night. Spaghetti and meatballs for my kid. A good portion of spaghetti and 3 large meatballs. She was only interested in the spaghetti. My husband had the Flatbread with bacon and some other toppings with a side of calamari. The Flatbread was nearly $20 and not impressive at all. It was small and soggy. The calamari suffered in transit but was tasty. I had the roasted chicken breast with asparagus, mushrooms and mashed potatoes. I also got a side of the "cali-flower", roasted cauliflower with caesar dressing. The mashed potatoes were nice - smooth and buttery. The mushrooms were unique and tasty. The asparagus was sauteed and still crisp. The chicken was the biggest disappointment. $27. And the chicken was so dry it was a choking hazard. It was also very bitter- like burnt garlic and lemon. Dinner was expensive and not very impressive. I'm sorry to say since I was a huge fan upon inception.
