If we're serving peas and salmon hospital style, let's call it that.

We stopped by for lunch before seeing Giants....and had the salmon with vegetables. One of the most delicious meals I've had in a restaurant in months.

We waited over an hour for food that was terrible and expensive. I would have preferred over-priced sandwiches and soup that came out quickly.

If you happen to find yourself touring the Brooklyn Museum, The Norm is an unexpected find. It is rare for a restaurant in a museum to be a first class experience. I've been there twice, the first in 2018 and the second, earlier this month. The food, service and ambiance were exceptional. I plan to go back the next time I am in Brooklyn.

Terrible A plus for not having rats and roaches in NY other can take direction I’ve had better service in Ohio/PA at a truck stop. I’m embarrassed for them.

The $27 dish with chicken had literally five morsels of chicken. It wasn’t just my plate but also my wife’s. I pointed this out to one of the servers, and we got a 20% discount. That we appreciated. Also, we had to wait 13 minutes into restaurant hours in front of the entrance with a baby; we should’ve been seated in my opinion. The last time we came here a year ago. Experience has been very good overall. It looks as though something has to be done to improve the work of the kitchen, and the general manager should also up their game.

The place was empty, and I had reservations. The maitre'd was a nervous reck running around. The service was fantastic, and the food was delicious. It's definitely a place you should treat yourself to while visiting The Brooklyn Museum.

While waiting for our exhibition, we decided to have lunch at the Norms. Not bad and budget accurate.

My experience is limited to brunch. My eggs Benedict with salmon were very good but my coffee was really bad. First cup was lukewarm; second cup was so strong that it could have been a double espresso. The service was adequate — very friendly — but not the smoothest. All in all, not a “great” experience, but good enough that I would go back.
They say that first impressions always last. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a nice young lady by the name of Harmony. I think she was the current shift manager. I also observed that she greeted everyone who entered. What this does is that it gives us the visitors a sense of comfort in this highly strung and anxiety ridden society of ours. My plan was to eat outside, but she explained that I would have to order to go. I then decided to sit inside of the restaurant, which offers an excellent atmosphere and gave the good ol' Brooklyn vibration-feelThe atmosphere is real chill. The food...I was pleasantly surprised. VERY good!

the restaurant at the Brooklyn Museum has seen better days, used to frequent this place months back. Very low morale, you can feel it on walking thru the door. burger was lackluster, and they did use to add mushrooms and it felt like greater quality back then. sad.

After viewing the exhibits at the Brooklyn Museum, I had lunch at The Norm inside the museum. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. Although I arrived way earlier than my reservation time, she seated me right away at a table of my choice. My waiter and the other waitstaff were attentive and polite. I ordered a well-done burger and it came out very juicy. The caramelized onions on top and the pickle went very well with the delicious beef burger along with a glass of refreshing apple cider mimosa. I also loved the French fries that were crunchy on the outside and very soft on the inside. I have added The Norm to my list of favorite restaurants in NYC. I highly recommend it!

This place is the worst! If this is the “norm” choose the abnormal. Terrible service, my friend & I waited almost one hour before we received any service. TERRIBLE! Run away from this place.
