Great live music. The bands that the owner or manager brings in are wonderful, interesting and talented new rock and new folk and jazz fusion and whatever else. Been impressed every single time I've been there. A gem of the neighborhood.
This bar felt like being at home. The energy was calming and inviting. As a visitor from TN I found myself on alert most of my NY trip…being in this bar with friends and strangers was the first time I let my guard down and mingled without care. A must visit spot for great music and atmosphere.
If you need a good cry or meditation, this is the place! We had Stuart Bogie and Chris Morrissey that night, both are amazing and soul touching! (Start thinking about moving to NY!! Just for this awesome venue and music!)
