Going here for years. Great staff, good coffee, good food. Best cafe on Bushwick Ave. Small minor note, the exhaust system is not strong so I recommend you sit outside or downstairs and if you are taking out wait outside so you don’t smell like food, honestly just might be me. kid and dog friendly. Note bathroom is downstairs.

Cozy with delicious food that is tremendously reasonably priced for the area or type of cuisine. I got a yogurt bowl that was barely >$10 with tax and came with generous portions of almond butter, banana, blueberry, cacao, walnuts, and hemp seeds. Like generous (usually places like this are so skimpy with portions). They were clean and had great wifi, plus it’s a bilingual establishment and seemed like a community staple—they were having a live show in the basement. Would definitely make this a go-to place for study, a meal, meeting friends, or coworking/workaway

The Tangy BST! I will come back to New York City just for this bagel. The bacon? Crispy. The jalapeño cream cheese? Zesty and fresh. The overall experience? Life-changing. Recommend on an everything bagel. Delicious start to the day at house party. I wish every day would start this way! Alfredo was so friendly and helpful. What a guy! What a place!

Been stopping in here for 3 years now for the tangy BST! They have good gluten free bread and can make any of the sandwiches on it. I’m celiac and haven’t ever had a reaction to cross contamination from them. Great space, calm vibe, and a nice outdoor seating area. If you want a quick cold brew or a place to work its good for both!

Wow. Just had the tangy BST. A true heavyweight. One of the best breakfast sandwiches on an everything bagel one could imagine. Definite A+

The food is honestly above and beyond, and actually pretty affordable given what you’re getting. Their café menu is long and consistently great (the roast is amazing). Down to earth vibe — no snotty Bk cafe energy — and great service :)

And plenty of seating indoors and outdoors!

Masala chai latte and vegetarian breakfast sandwich on croissant were delicious. Service was okay. Would recommend for a simple, no-frills coffee and brunch

One of my favorite places to go for breakfast or lunch. My favorite is the classic morning and I add spinach and avocado ??? chefs kiss. Their white mocha latte goes perfect with it or a orange juice. Staff is always polite and full with good energy. Peaceful music in the background, and the room full of happy customers. Also a great place to bring your laptop and get some work done!
