Probably come once a year here, and have been doing so for over ten years. Usually after spending the day at Coney Island, we'll go to this place to unwind. It's low-key. The food is decent. I like that it's not too crowded. Don't get much, the typical order is a beer and some snack. Think the main reason is because they have an AC.
We had came in from the Polar Bear Plunge 2026. Marise, who we met on the line to go on to the beach had suggested their chicken noodle soup to warm up afterwards. The soup was delicious! The sweet potatoes fries and chicken wings along with a lively atmosphere and live cover band playing, was what we needed. We look forward to our next visit. Gil the proprietor runs a tight shop, so no matter how busy it looks, he will get you seated.
Drinks are reasonable but the service was non existent. Not sure which waitress it was but one had an attitude as if I owed her something. Over all experience on show was great, food good but you might want to get people who wants to work and kind to your customers.
